James Arthur is a wonderful man, a true artist who writes beautiful songs. No one gives him talent and no one has such a beautiful voice. His songs are real music, the highest level. He is a cool boy and he respects people. It is beautiful outside and inside.
The highest level loooool, his music is whiny watery acoustic trash. thousand singer songwriters better than him.
At his concerts people from all over the world come and buy all the tours. A lot of people write about him for his music because they helped them get out of depression and other difficult issues. He made a lot without media support. People have quite pornographic videos in which there are stars that without the support of the computer would not get rid of even one sound. James sings alone and live like a CD and even better. You do not have to like his music, but before you criticize him, listen to all the James songs that he sang. They are numerous. Of course there are a lot of great singers but James Arthur is exceptional.
Marta Lemanska I totally agree with you! I have "All the Worlds A Stage" downloaded and I listen to it at least 5 times a week! AND I never liked rap before, it was SO monotone! But James somehow puts melody in his rap, Follow The Leader, Tilikum, Where My Angels Dare Not Go, Not Guilty and Hyped are my favorites! I also have both his CD's signed! I watched him win the X Factor from over here in America (I watched Ours, Britain's & Australia's) I had not seen such heart and soul from a singer since Jimmy, Janis and Jim Morrison! I have waited for an artist to move me like they did! There were a lot of good ones that came close but either burnt out or had a "new" sound but only had one or two albums in them like Alanis Morisset, or U2 for example. I could not believe just how MUCH music James had written BEFORE he was even on the X Factor! I swear I kept finding "new to me" music uploaded by various people for more than 2 years into watching James' career!
Usually statements made, like this James Marlon guy made, are because they are either frustrated musicians, jealous or they need attention and find negative comment get them a lot of it.
I am one of those people that James music has helped! It has got me through the death of my husband, father and now it is getting me through the death of my brother!
For people like Mr Marlon.....To quote one of my favorites on the new album, "Back From The Edge:"

I am so very, very happy that James will FINALLY be touring the US! I've waited SO long! My daughter and I will be seeing him in Wheatfield California on Aug 25th! I really appreciate One Republic for seeing how tallnted James is and asking him to go on tour with them .. even if it has made the cost high and they are the main attraction (there is one other for a total of 3 acts).... I just hope that they don't regret it because I have always said Americans are going to fall in LOVE with James once they hear that SOUL! I bet it will surprise a lot of people how much he is going to OUTSHINE the others on this tour!

James Arthur is brilliant. It looks like people on here are jealous. Not only is he an amazing singer, his concerts are the best, he truly loves his fans. Why do you have to knock someone down to make yourself feel better? He cares deeply for all of his fans. Best of all he has given a name to mental health issues like depression and anxiety. Melissa... :) Welcome to the "JArmy!" Yeah! The American JArmy is finally going to grow.... and fast! I am going to see James in Aug also! Only my daughter and I are seeing him in Wheatland Calif. on the 24th.
I was fortunate enough to have a JArmy sis in Manchester England invite me to stay with her and buy my ticket if I came up with the plane fare for the concert on March 11th.... I am still trying to play "catch up" with the bills but it was everything I had hoped for and more!
I found James watching his audition on Britain's 2012 X Factor, I was sold hook line and sinker! Literally was jumping up and down with tears flowing when he won! I was his first American fan on Twitter and made a Face Book page, "James Arthur the U.S. Wants U" to try and help get him here sooner... but it has seemed forever!
His music is so prolific and has helped through some very rough times over the last 5 years... so I could not pass up a chance to finally see...HEAR him live! Gonna blow you away! Of course I had no idea he was going to be asked to tour with One Republic... but, Hey... twice in one year, count me a lucky girl!

My 2 top favorites will always be: "You Can't See Me" (It is just SO James) and the reason we call him the King: "Long Live the King" I believe he was around 16 years old when it was recorded (about how some kid was trying to "be better" than him) Oh MY!...The PASSION! This song builds up... and by the end... well, there is another song where he asks the girl to come back and see him "sing the veins around his neck! He was talking about this song...LOL! Again... Welcome! You will be surprised how much music he has out there!

But I think "Back From The Edge" will always be my favorite, as it's the album that brought James back to us & justifiably re-launched what has been a very successful career. And he's quite worthy. James Arthur has the most breathtaking voice & will be remembered as the most profoundly gifted male vocalist for many generations to come.🙏♥️🇺🇸✌

Let's rate music and not hair. It's not a hairdressing salon. James Arthur is a great, modest, industrious, ambitious, exceptionally talented man. Respects other people. He struggled with depression and overcome many difficulties. Everything has been accomplished alone and his music has helped many people in the world. Instead of clutching his hair, try to identify his music and person. And the hair is beautiful and all is beautiful. Inside and out.
