@@kepchutwong6732 In 2013 with Wild (they charted 4th Loosing against 4Minute and Sistar), in 2016 with Lip2Lip (Charted 2nd loosing against IOI, EXO and Hyuna) and in 2017 with Remember (Charting 3th and loosing against NCT)
The concept of 9Muses was Model Idols. All of them were working models turned idols. And they were taller than most idols. They're male dancers had to wear heel pads to be as tall as the girls.
I need a part 2 with "Gun" "News" and "Figaro" Reaction.
9Muses had a lot of member changes later on, as you probably know. Their newer songs are still as good as the old ones.
If you want a ballad, then definitely check out "Sleepless Night" from them!
Other title songs I'd recommend are: Drama, Hurt Locker, Remember and Love City

Dolls is honestly one of my favourite kpop songs im so glad you like it !!
Most of their songs were wrote by Sweetune which is a producing team and the team also wrote many famous songs for Kara, Infinite and Rainbow at that time. You can see similarities among those groups’ songs.

Ugh, these talented, beautiful ladies deserved so much better! It’s honestly amazing how incredibly good they were considering how incredibly inept Star Empire was/is….right up there with TS & FNC.
Yes there was a little difficulty with the company (sarcasm on high)…if you get a chance there is a truly remarkable, & often times, emotionally painful documentary called “9muses of Star Empire”.
It’s so worth seeing it but it’s not always easy to watch…..
And not for nothing but Kyungri on the staircase in Wild is one of those iconic kpop images that will forever stay etched in my brain space!
Im sad because i discover 9 muses, dalshabet and spica at 2021 where they are just a great history. I feel bad because i dont have a chance to support them in their active years.

YES!! the rap line in most of the videos is euaerin and eunji! eunji is the one with the shorter hair and dimples! i recommend you should react to remember (2017), figaro, news, and lip2lip!!! thank you sm for reacting to them they are one of my ults :))
They did have a rough go of it when active, which is why they deserve all the love. 9Muses and Spica are the two biggest travesties of 2nd gen.
I meant for them to be chronological, but I revised the playlist a lot because it was so hard to pick just 4 songs.

My favorite group back in the day. I'm happy that they are still appreciated even now. I really like the retro funky element in their music.

"the intense and dangerous training to be a kpop star" is a documentary about 9muses on RUclips. its hard to watch because the girls try so hard and are treated so poorly. It's important to talk about the issues in the doc, just emotionally prepare yourself if you check it out.

Namyu make such good music!! Lots of lineup changes but they're all incredible. I especially like Gun, Hurt Locker, Love City, and Remember ♥♥♥ their rapline goes so damn hard too. If you want b-sides, I recommend their Prima Donna album!
It's really unfurtunate that they debuted with a sexy and cool concept when everyone was in love with a cute concept and that's what make them very underate ㅠ ㅠ

Second gen Kpop had lots of generic unforgettable music, but 2013 Nine Muses was and will always be the high point of Kpop for me. After Glue half the group left and they never gained the same momentum again up until the end. It's kind of significant of Kpop that they were never close to winning on any music show while delivering timeless tunes again and again.
You must be high, second gen was peak, it's all downhill from there.

I don't know if it's a different documentary than others are mentioning, or the same with a different title, but you should check out "The Nine Muses of Star Empire," which is a pretty intense look at the darker side of the Kpop industry. The idol system is a huge advantage for the Kpop industry, because it consistently turns out artists who are skilled, versatile, and ready for the rigors of the industry. It also has room to be abused by people who have the wrong motives.
I've never seen anything confirming this in English (I can't read Korean very well), but I'm wondering if the 2nd gen girl group trend for sexy concepts led the companies to push limits, to the point where it got out of control a bit. Groups like Nine Muses crashed and burned, and the trend to be sexier and sexier led to an uncomfortable amount of skin for the members. It seems to me like the industry hit a reset with 3rd gen girl groups, following the safer (and more fun) "girl crush" concept. I'd love to hear from Koreans who can supply some cultural perspective.
Dolls, Wild, Gun and Glue came out in 2013. 4 Comebacks in one year was epic. All produced by Sweet Tune. One of the most underrated producers in popular music.
Sera, Leesem, and Eunji all left after Glue. Sera was kicked out tho.
The best line up for 9 Muses is 2013. Because they produced many hitsong that time.
why was sera kicked out?
@@larklawrence5417 she tried to make negotiations regarding her renewal of contract. she said that for her to renew her contract the members would be more involved in their concepts, songs etc. the company apparently didnt like that and kicked her out without her knowing. :(

RAPPER'S NAMES? IT'S MY TIME TO SHINE.
The one with with the longer hair is Euaerin (이유에린) and has that trademark husky, smoky voice (AND MY GODDAM BIAS OMG). She's exudes a very girlboss/'I don't care about what you say' vibe.. The one with the shorter hair is Eunji and is the Main Dancer for their generation.
Oh shucks, I forgot Lee Sem, ehich was Eunji's predecessor. They change rappers a lot according to what the songs the demands. She was the short hair in Ticket.
So you mainly reacted to the Sweetune (composer) era of 9Muses which always have the retro vibes. They debuted in 2010, but we don't talk about that. 😂😂😂
They debuted with 'No Playboy' in 2010 with a follow-up promotions for 'Ladies'. We had a line-up change, then enter the Sweetune Era in 2012 starting with 'Figaro', then 'News', then 'Ticket', 'Dolls', then 'Gun' which you haven't reacted yet, then 'Wild', and then 'Glue'.
Then we go with another line-up change in 2014 with Sera, Lee Sem and Eunji leaving, and being replaced with Sojin and Geumjo. This line-up started with 'Drama', then 'Hurt Locker' in 2015, and 'Sleepless Nights' in 2016.
Enter another line-up change where Erin, Minha, and Hyuna left while Sungah goes into hiatus and a 'sub-unit' is formed as 9Muses A with Kyungri, Sojin, Hyemi, and Geumjo left and the promoted with '입술에 입술', then '기억해', and 'Love City'. After these, Kyungri went solo with '오늘 밤 (Blue Moon)', then on 2019 they formally disbanded with their farewell song aptly named as 'Remember'.
So, yeah, this is their condensed hietory with their title tracks.

9Muses deserved better agency than their worst agency ever. Star Empire is one of the most worst agency ever
It is a shame that the company behind 9 Muses was so disrespectful to members. They kept switching members out like disposable property. They debuted in 2011. If members were kept they would have continued popularity. Please watch Ms Back from three years ago, available with eng subs on You Tube. You can see members from disbanded girl groups including Sera Ryu from 9 Muses. Also Raina from After School and Orange Caramel, Dal Soobin from Sal Shabet, Also member from Crayon Pop, Wassup and Stellar. Thanks so much❤
