There are a lot of old Misery Signal faithful that swear by Jesse, but I found them when Mirrors came out and I can’t shake the fact that their three albums with Karl were the epitome of what they did. Musically, they’re always going to be incredible, but the only thing Jesse has is passion and energy.

@@thesummit615 You're a fucking moron. The only album they did with Jesse was Malice - which is their best record by FAR - of course the "epitome of what they did" was the 3 fucking albums that they put out while Karl was fronting. Then they realized Karl sucked and kicked him out. Karls voice is way too loud and like a constant roar - drowning out all the best parts that make mis sigs mis sigs. Jesse is a thousand times better.

@@thesummit615 The thing is that Misery Signals is more than just "well, that sounds cool" There's a whole reason for this band even existing. Karl isn't a part of that. Jesse is at the heart of it. If you don't know the story of them, it's easy to just say "I like this guy better." They released a documentary when they reformed with Jesse on their Malice 10yr Anniversary tour.

gttrmgc I went back and watched it and it made me appreciate it so much more. I will gladly eat my words. I actually discovered MS with Jesse in it when I saw them in concert back in 05. It completely reminded me of why I thought they were special in the first place. Yes, Misery Signals was great with Karl in it, but the story is definitely important.

Hey bros just live the moment. When absent light came out I've never thought that we could see Jesse singing Karl's parts and is great to see that happens (I know, I know Karl is far better than Jesse musically and personally I prefer Karl in front) just enjoy the moment because we don't know how much time will be Jesse on front
