Another very enjoyable film by the team. As a spotter for many years it only recently l own a phone capable of viewing these films as my previous phones were more at home in the V+ A Museum. Having partly watched other films Tornado922 are the go to films, because of the voiceover as it happens. One comment made in this film covered how full the trains were and nameplates where revalent. Where films have no voiceover, it is just a train. This may not be interesting to many spotters but the Franchise owners could pick up details about their own services for free. Well done again
Well I'm glad you found this good to watch yet again. Sometimes I try and look for the more peculiar things that you wouldn't normally see get noticed such as the capacity of the trains or indeed the nameplates that some of the trains carry.
There's two Locomotives named Royal Sovereign one is 67006 and Preserved Class 87 Number 87002. There may have been a special event or a Rugby Match which may explain the crowded trains coming in.
From what I gathered that day there was a rugby game going on between Argentina and the Barbarians. I saw a few people getting off the train wearing Barbarian rugby shirts
great video. lol your funny you make me laugh. great shot of the 67s and the carriages look lovely and fresh. and nice tones of the HST mate and the 67s
Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed watching this, I loved seeing the 67's coming through as I wasn't expecting to see anything like that when I was there
I use Realtime Trains every time I'm out filming, What I mean by not expecting to see those 67's coming through is that I wasn't aware that a rail tour was booked to arrive when I turned up at the station
How many Trains those tunnels must have protected as well as the people, great write-up. All wet ladies, and just a massive stage once again awesome start. Sweet Tunnel Sparks and track changes, just beautiful. Bus, Coach and Lorry cameos too. Queens Messenger is one fine piece, if I may be so bold. She's a Full Platformer! Seriously Bruv, the film is bonk. The ladies were giving great lens. Hahaha, sort your life out... Bwahahahaa!! He told his wife he was abroad, when in fact he was just off seeing one. Maybe? Caught! Really top-shelf film, whole package. Thanks again, stay warm! B.P. ..... Hahaha, sort your life out.. F@#kin' classic!
There's so much to tell about this station but so little time to try and get it all in haha, but I did enjoy coming here. It's a shame it was quieter than normal but then I guess it was my own fault to come here when engineering works were taking place that weekend. But the charter really made up for it. The two class 67's did look magnificent
Haha, get it all in! The pace was great, sometimes too much is just that too much. The Construction is great to see all across the country, it truly shows grow and not decline as so often reported everywhere, even here in Canada. I look at the big picture so everything in the film is enjoyable, maybe cause I'm in a different country (Call me silly). But yeah, those 67's I can see them thundering through the fog late night, with some important cargo or person with the most crucial destination to reach and those ladies are the ones to get there, safe and ahead of schedule. Once again thanks for your hard work, great films all. Happy Humbugs! B.P.
Well you've done it again . Fantastic video. Thanks for standing in the rain your a star . I'm not sure on numbers and who makes them but I love the trains who make a sound like they changing gear we have a lot that on our London to sevenoaks line. Maybe 365s ?
Thank you ever so much for saying so and for your continued support I'm glad you enjoyed watching this. I haven't been here in what must be over 3 years now so it felt good to come back to a station that at first I wasn't overly impressed with. Hopefully the next time I come here there will be more traffic to keep me going. The 365's do sound like they are changing gear I have to agree with you on that one. That being said if you listen to the class 323 they also make a similar sound when departing
@@Tornado922 always great to hear from you sir. I will certainly listen to the 323s to hear that sound which I rather like. Again thank you for your reply.
Another cracking video! You chose lovely weather for it! And if she looked at you as if you were mental, she's right 😃 otherwise we wouldn't get these great videos so nice one!
Thanks very much. I always seem to get great weather whenever I'm filming haha!! There has to be slight case of lunacy involved when I'm filming otherwise it wouldn't feel right!! But thank you for your kind support it really does mean a huge amount
Great video mate from the legendary station of the original LNER. Brilliant surprise as well of the railtour with both Royal liveried 67s. As regards the idiots giving you death stares, they should face-off against Darth Vader lol. I look forward to your next video as always. Be well and keep safe, regards Gary.
Thanks very much for saying so I'm glad you enjoyed watching this, I would love to see them try and stare down Darth Vader that would be right sight to see haha
Some 365s and 387s are forming Thameslink services for the time being to Peterborough. So if any train is from Peterborough Cambridge or Cambridge North it's timetabled as a Thameslink service. Great Northern trains come from Ely and King's Lynn. Also Great Northern form services From Welwyn Garden City Stevenage and Hertford North to Moorgate.
Hi Jarred the numbers for the grand central class 180's the coaches have 5 numbers you take the last 3 numbers and subtract 800 that numbers then that gives you the set number
Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoy watching the content that I produce. I would have to do MK next year as I have several stations I want to get done before the year ends
I'm guessing the 11:59 service was meant to go to Inverness but due to engineering works it had to terminate at Edinburgh and there wasn't any services to the north of Scotland like Aberdeen
It was timetabled to terminate at Edinburgh, because of the engineering works taking place between Peterborough and Doncaster it meant that a very limited service was running that day
to get a 180 number: the last 2 numbers on each coach is the the last number of the running number. so for instance carriage 52210 is art of 180110. or 522** is part of 1801** the first number after 180 is always 1
Splendid film as always Jarred, such a shame you didn't get to see 91119 but ye can't have them all eh?, I presume that Clapham Junction will be the last station this year as per usual, thumbs up from me as always Jarred.
Thanks very much mate I'm glad you enjoyed watching this, I was really chuffed with the two 67's arriving into the station I wasn't expecting to see them, I'm sure on my travels I'll be able to see 91119 at some point but that will have to wait till next year :) Yes Clapham Junction will be my final film of the year
Look at the last 2 numbers on each carriage that's ur number so if its say 180 101 then look for x01 on the sides of each carriage best way to find out
As per usual an excellent video........keep up the good work......here in Brisbane, Australia our Trains are operated by the State Government and are all the same colour they are so boring, compared to variety of colours and operators in the UK
Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed watching this. It is good seeing the various companies here in the UK but I have to say I do have a keen interest in the Australian Rail network as you have some rather interesting trains over there
Yeah I guess they added some kind of variety I guess. There’s some passing Tamworth on the 8th December if you are still going on that date on a railtour. I’m looking forwards to meeting you there with a couple of mates of mine 😃😃😃
I stand by the statement that the commentary in your vids is unparalleled, love the stuff you bring to a usually silent genre of video :)
Thank you ever so much for saying so, that really is greatly appreciated!
love how you talk in your vids instead of just filming the trains
I'm glad you find it enjoyable

great video.
I've only seen a handful of rail tours as I'm never around when they are running

The kings cross concourse is located on the side of the platforms, making it very unique but confusing
Great video and that railtour was a great bonus. :)
Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed watching this, the rail tour was definitely the highlight for me that day
You're welcome. I enjoyed watching the rail tour too especially the vintage blue and grey livery on the coaches. :)
Nice and what lovely weather we have :)
Thanks very much, the weather was simply superb that day haha
Wow, London Kings Cross station is a busy station! :D 👍
Hopefully the next time I come here it will be busier when the line is fully opened when the engineering works are completed

Nice video. Do you know why they were putting not to be moved signs on the trains?
Thanks very much, it's just so people can get onto the train and get it cleaned. It's also put on there so that the train isn't taken to a depot.
Tornado922 oh right thank you enjoyed all your latest vids
321s have stoped running now 17:46

the number is on the coupling system
I cant remember the amount of times I've been told that and I still manage to forget
They used to be east coast n The virgin for a while now LNER ok?
Yes they have changed over several times over the past few years
In this, great, video Tornado922 gets soggy at King's Cross.
Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed watching this, it stopped raining as I got to the station
Why did the flying Scotsman service 91 101 have the virgin logo on like if u saw this around 20:00
Because at the time of me filming this some of the trains still had the logo on their units
Next can you do trains at Paisley Gillmour street
I already have a list of stations I'm getting done this year. I may look into it next year but I cant make any guarantees
OK tornado
Remember to do the Thameslink platforms as well.
I have already filmed at St Pancras after filming here. I focused on the upper levels as there is more to see instead of filming the Thameslink ones
Why is it always the 387s getting packed.
It was every service coming in that day
It's December Christmas is coming I hope you'll get a class 321 train for Christmas
As much as I would like a class 321 sadly you cant get a model of one as they don't exist yet
Are you coming back to Peterborough
I will be next year
Look tornado, is 365s. They're happy trains 😂😂😝😝
Awesome video. I must say I don’t like the 67s very much.
Thanks very much, I think the 67's broke up the video a bit for something different but they aren't to every ones tastes :)
Yeah I guess they added some kind of variety I guess. There’s some passing Tamworth on the 8th December if you are still going on that date on a railtour. I’m looking forwards to meeting you there with a couple of mates of mine 😃😃😃
I shall be at Tamworth from 9 till 11, I'm sure you'll find me somewhere on the station haha
