Just opened my instant pot which I received as a gift. Not too sure of how to operate it. There are 2 Sealing rings that came with it, one is clear which it’s already placed in the lid and the other. One is a red one. Is the red one a spare one?. I am so confused! Those direction’s are so confusing to me !

LOL! That is the truth! I actually keep a red and blue seal and use the red for sweets/plain food and the blue for strong flavored meals.

I run hot water and wash my lid as soon as I take it off and before the lid dry’s. Very easy cleanup.

LOL! I like to soak it in baking soda and water. I also recommend having one seal for savory dishes and one for sweet (or yogurt, rice, etc)
