CEBA Repayment: Take Advantage of Forgiveness Program

The Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) was a program to help small businesses pay for expenses and survive uncertain times, but what shouldn't remain uncertain are the repayment options.
The forgiveness program can be extremely beneficial for Canadian business owners. The best move would be to take advantage of it by repaying your loan by January 18, 2024.

Hey Jacky, is the forgiveable portion ( in my case it is 20,000), do I have to include that 20,000 as my company’s income? I paid 40,000 in the beginning of the year. Thanks

That's correct, the $20,000 is taxable income.
