Be careful of those low profile Edelbrock foam air filters...one good backfire through the carb and they will catch fire...happened twice in two different cars of mine...won't ever put another one on...nice ride btw!!
@@Simmonsracing187 hell yes! Better to have and not need than to need and not have ;p helps triangulate the chassis too if you ever put a stouter engine in it .
If the car runs 7.99 or quicker in the 1/8th, in most places you have to at least have a 4 point roll bar. A 6 point helps stiffen the car up a bit and adds protection. This sounds like at least an 8.0 car, probably closer to low 7s.

I have a 79, same exact color. Same interior. Cam, headers, stall, not quite as hopped up but a great cruiser none the less

Why do people ruin these with those hoods ?
I prefer a 2 inch cowl to the 4 inch, but it's not my hotrod.
