Thank you for being here. Is it recommended/possible to take your gouache course using procreate? I have purchased your Ghibli brushes & would like to incorporate them with your course.
Hello, thanks for your comment! ☺It's a fun idea but unfortunately, I don't think it would be the most helpful for you. The course is heavily focused on the physical aspects of gouache painting (paint mixing, amount of water needed, lifting and layering techniques, etc.) so those things would not translate to the digital medium. Some fundamentals like composition and color theory ideas would still be applicable, but I think there would be too much of the course that wouldn't translate well or just wouldn't apply at all. If you haven't yet checked it out, I do recommend watching the tutorial video that comes with the brush set. Even though the tutorial is done in Photoshop, it still explains my thought process and workflow with digital tools that are comparable to what is available within Procreate. I hope this helps!
Thank you! Please make more of this such as trees or flowers! It helps!
Thank you for your feedback and great suggestions! 😊💕
