NSW Steam Dubbo and Orange areas Easter 1967.
The featured steam locomotive in this video is Garratt 6040 shown moving about in the yards at Dubbo; and there are also shots of it on the main line with a freight train. According to the information at the site below, 6040 is one of only four of 42 similar Garratts and it was withdrawn in May of 1967 which was soon after this video was taken. it is now at the New South Wales Railway Museum www.environmen... Nice little video we had a shed full of garrets at Enfield they were noisy and dirty to work on had to use the steam hose to keep cab clean
