In The Heat Of The Night ( Carroll O Connor, aka Archie Bunker played the Chief of Police) was filmed there, Dukes of Hazzard ( The big clock tower in the square was Hazzard County Courthouse) , Remember theTitans, Sweet Home Alabama, Cannonball Run ( Burt Reynolds ) and many others were filmed in that town. Oh also Friday the 13th part 6 was filmed there, the police station qas also used in the Show ITHOTN.

And you walked right pass Bonnie’s house which is right next to the Lockwood mansion. You even passed up the micheal Myers house that rob zombie has filmed the newer version of Halloween ll
