- I have been interested in 3D sound for a while after hearing the virtual barbershop and decided to give it a try myself as there are so many possibilities.
Put headphones on and close your eyes as the brain will be tricked more by any directional sound that way and imagine you are in an observation building on territory that is falling to the enemy, the enemy has tracked your squads position and are using combined arms tactics to advance on your position.

Tactical Dash the artilery sound is from cod 1 or cod 2 but they are like fake
Those were actually RPG's, if those were rounds from a tank then the friction from the metal slicing through the wind would have a high pitched sound and wouldn't be nearly as slow.
Realistically, with all game FX aside.

Putting the fact aside that artillery usually doesn't whistle... put on your headphones close your eyes and turn up the volume. Imagine you're standing there behind a damn wall with a few guys. Then you hear the bombs whistling towards you and exploding 3 sec later and all that is in your mind is "fuckfuck I'm dead now" while you need to focus on returning accurate fire and pay attention to orders and coms. Repeatedly.
That is absolute terror. And yet there are people who sacrifice themselves to do this job so you don't have to. Nobody wants this. Nobody wants to fight, die or kill. But these people know that this is how the world will always be and fight to keep the fights away from our homes.
And these heroes are disrespected by dumb sheep who work at some grocery store or cafe. Incredible.
They are sheep, so the pastor of the sheep should be held accountable, not the sheep.
