You have to remember chief and every other Spartan II are super soldiers even without their power they have enhanced strength, speed and reflexes plus near unbreakable bones the power armor doubles their enhancements
Even though he managed to put up a fight and but even he can't fight against two fully armored Spartan IIs
i will say chief is historically gullible in the games... almost lit the halo in the first game cause he trusted that monitor who flew around.... fucked around with the flood gravemind in halo 2 and 3, trusted the didact.... Cortana.... he always winding up in trouble lol
Love you guys reaction. Not a “Gamer”, but I love Sci-Fi! I think that the development of their relationship was fast, because neither John nor Makee ever had a connection with anyone. Finding someone to have a connection with was part of the attraction for them and I think why it was so fast. To feel any type of feelings was a huge step for them, to touch another living soul in something other than violence I think played a part in the bedroom scene. Makee removing her index sword was her making a choice to believe in John.
That makee and John moment, is going to make Master Chief hate the aliens more 😠
She ripped the nail because she decided to be human..that romance was needed to make them realize that they are the same and not so different...all their heart beats and brain waves was exactly the same.
I don't think people are upset at the reasoning, it makes sense in the show, but halo has never been about romance so to see it is a huge let down and almost feels downright disrespectful. This is coming from someone that owns/read all the books 3x over. Not trying to knock the show because obviously the show is okay, and I made my peace that this was a different timeline, but this isn't thematic to halo at all. I was even okay with the Kwan stuff because despite popular belief it actually had a place in halo but this does not. People be complaining about the wrong things in this show.

There is one more episode after this one. So the finale is yet to come
This dude master chief Shlong-117 is going to cause one of the biggest moments in the Halo series, "the fall of reach" all because he wanted to clap some cheeks, which is so far from his character that it sounds like something Red Vs Blue would make up as a joke.
I think Master Chief will get the chip again because his experimentation with human emotions went so wrong.

The daughter Keyes was talking about is Miranda. Halsey is just too focused & hell bent on CONTROL OF EVERYTHING!! She’s outta control herself & can’t even see it. She is BLINDED BY POWER!! We are witnessing Halsey’s TAKEOVER!! She pushed that little girl Makee away because she thinks she is not good enough for HER JOHN. Now we are going to see the birth of Chief & CORTANA’s relationship take off. Let’s face it, Kia & Cortana is ALL Master Chief has left to TRUST!!

I always wondered about people that wanted to see MasterChef have sex. I guess they got what they wanted after all these years. LOL this is so ridiculous, they made the spartans a bunch of hot eastern european models. Not everyone in the Halo universe has to be so beautiful (no not even cortana). And it is out of character for Halsey to trust nobody/herself over the UNSC that she has sacrificed so much for over the years. Especially given the fact that what the UNSC ultimately does is destroy the Halos. Also isnt Halsey researching the forerunners/Halos so mankind can have a leg up on the covenant. So much of the Halo series (and Halsey's motivations) was about survival, not some vaunted desire to evolve or not trust anyone. SO dumb!

Just realized that this show is getting so much hate for being too radical. We’re so used to getting straight forward plots from Marvel and DC that many can’t take the subversions.

Uh..no, this show is trying to take a note from Game of Thrones with all the sub-plots and sex appeal, only they're completely trash at recreating it. That's why we hate this show. It's garbage directing/writing.
bad writing and characterization is not a subversion. This is final season GoT writing, not early seasons GoT.

Maybe because John feels a deep connection with Makee , he thinks that is love because of his removal of his capsule, he hasn't had time to annalyse it better.
I hated this episode. The writers are morons. I liked the other episodes, even the Kwan episode. But this was jumping the shark.
And this episode has been pointless, all characters ended up at the same place at the end of the episode as they were at the beginning. They literally could have not done this entire episode and not have changed the story.
Maybe next time, they’ll call you up to script the show? Forgive me if I don’t hold my breath waiting for the invite, though.🥱

Master chief is an emotional wreck the whole series and doesn't act anything like himself in the video games.
The covenant are hardly present in the series at all.

@@lolilol535 Own/read all the books 3x over and played every halo game more than all of these haters have played every halo title combined. It's a decent show, 7/10 at best. Don't listen to the haters. Unless they can back up why they dislike the show their opinion isn't worth listening to. Just more sheep people who hear an uneducated opinion from someone they like on RUclips and treat it as gospel.
