Looks great but personally would like the dome a little darker tint. Still cool though
Under natural light during breaks the suit was more accurate to the 1/3 scale like a light greyish colour but on set under the dark lighting the suit looked more accurate to the 1:1 bust in all fairness it looks incredible I own the cinemaquette and the prime1 1/3 would also love the bust after seeing your review, congrats bro glad it finally arrived been waiting for this video for ages lol

I like the paint job much better than I thought, wish the front of dome were blackened up to skull eye sockets. Sorry to hear about the poor QA/QC. You really can't notice. You may be able to fog it more yourself, it can’t be that hard, just some spray paint that’s black

@@Ledge.Limited.Collectibles That's some bad advice there. Not only should he not use just some black paint, but the two types of paint might have a negative reaction. If he messes it up I guarantee QS will not have a spare dome to sell him. If anything he should send it to a professional like Chase Smith to have it done.
Looks pretty good Sean, you could use a washable dark colored marker just to touch up the imperfections, and wipes off if you come up with a better idea down the road 👍 looks great in your collection, the best A vs P wall 🤩

Ive owned the Bruce hansing bust aswell but I definitely prefer my Queen Studios Big Chap better. It's just more detailed in the sculpt and more accurate proportionally.
BH's bust did have a lot of presence too, due to the size of the head, a lot bigger but QS just stood out to me more. It was cheaper but imo, I prefer spending more to get the most accurate Big Chap.

Got fogged up in movie due to sweating
Im just happy that gap in the AvP setup is filled. Drove my ocd crazy. I love it. Definitely a worthy piece.

The trick with seeing the actual movie suit is to google ‘Alien 1979 movie suit’, not using big chap in the search. I did that and instantly you see Bolaji Badejo in the suit.

I would definitely put it sideways. The sides have so much gorgeous Gigerlike details. And it would have even more presence. But I can understand you want to be able to see every side.

Use a sharpie on the scuff marks. It’s such a dark and detailed piece, you’ll never notice
Cancelled mine since I wasn’t a fan of how the paint scheme turned out but regardless it still looks like it has a killer presence. Hopefully one day Prime 1 starts making busts for alien and predator. They would absolutely kill it.
I am so excited for mine to come in! It does look really great! I do wish they had fogged the dome a bit, but overall I am happy with how it turned out based on what I've seen in videos and photos so far. Sorry to see yours has some paint scuffs. Also, looks like they included a CoA? I heard they hadn't included a CoA with this bust when people in Australia were receiving theirs.

Yeah I think that’s 1 of the reasons it got delayed, they probably had to add those after the fact, but who knows, because I know people were mad they didn’t get one. I can’t believe they would not include 1, if you buy a legitimate piece, then you want the paperwork to prove it’s original
I received my bust without the COA, fortunately QS sent the COA to my supplier.

Honestly the paint job in my opinion looks good. It's life size if u will. The darkness in makes it more creepy. Now if it had some clear glossy Oozing out of its mouth. That would complete the u have officially freaked me out look😂 otherwise definitely an impressive bust.
I spoke to Queen before it was released and they said they would look into the issues with paint scheme, etc.. Lol!
Wow this bust is sick, i love Alien. Just one question: what do you think about the area around the skull? it looks a bit more clearer than how should be but it may be the video. Sorry for the scuff marks :( i think it may be the shipping. Anyway great statue, it sticks out a bit too much in the display but there is not much to do since how deep it is
I didn't know you could make special shipping requests at Spec.
In all honesty Flankster, i feel you'd get more from the piece if it were displayed from the side, rather than looking at the face.

I am not as impressed with it as I thought Id would be. I dont know if its a shallow sculpt or the paint not bringing out the details as much as it could, or it might just be the video and in person it looks more detailed.
Edit: dont get me wrong its still really awesome, but i thought id be totally wowed by it.

It looks good, but as we all know the prototype photos always look better. They skimped out on the paint app for sure. This bust is closer to what the original looked like.
