The funny thing is with the dvd cover for Shaggy Dog in my country while they did have the freaky human eyes dog for there posters for the most copies of the dvd that I've seen in stores in my country consist of the guy stand next to a dog holding it's leash even all long time ago when my family rented it from blockbuster it had the guy standing holding the leash of the dog with white and blue background, so I guess it mainly depends on the country you're in were you might get you freaky dog cover as the standard cover or not.

Ya know. This is one of the RDJ movies I am sad to see him in. I love RDJ he's my favorite actor. No matter what the movie he always puts on a great performance and is charismatic enough to be entertaining and enjoyable. This is not one of those movies.
And why couldn't they just have Tim do voice over for the dog the whole time? Instead of humiliating him like this.

Disney Did Made The Shaggy D.A. In 1976! Which Is The Sequel To The Made For TV Shaggy Dog From 1994 And The Original Shaggy Dog 1959
All of those films of the franchise are better compared to the 2006 version that was crap and unlike the better shaggy dog remake in 1994 that premiered on ABC where they still managed to focus on a teenage boy named Wilby Daniels and still made him magically transformed into an OES (Old English Sheepdog), here it centers on some middle-aged man and transformed into a bearded collie.

Chris and Jeremy are more overrated. Jackson and Issac are less recognized but should be more recognized because they are great.

The 1994 shaggy dog film that premiered on ABC is a better remake that Disney made right decently compared to this crap and much like the 1959 original film and the sequels from 1976 and 1987 that followed, the 1994 remake still manages to focus on Wilby Daniels a teenage boy that is magically transformed into an Old English sheepdog (which of course this dog breed from Britain became further iconic and popular for those Dulux commercials). The 2006 version on the other doesn’t and instead of using old English sheepdogs (OES), they’ve used bearded collies and it sucked!

The fact that, considering who voices Buzz Lightyear, you'd probably confuse it for an edited gag.
To me. It's for being a cheap reference to a better Disney film Tim Allen starred in.
It's like having Tom Hanks saying a Woody quote in Forrest Gump, Castaway, or Polar Express
