Thank you for this very informative video, I can’t wait to try sowing seeds for this beautiful flower.

Are they good for eating too? Also wondering what is maximum temperature for them that they can thrive?

No they are not edible at all just ornamental. The cool half of the year is better to grow them. They will be done by May.

They are all annuals, though there is a perennial type, which has no scent, iirc. You want to cut from them every other day when blooming, they don't continue to open, so make sure most buds have done so. Seed saving is simple... Don't pick the flowers, but you don't want to wait until it's too hot or the plant will drop buds and possibly their immature seeds!

They are from the pea family. After they bloom they make pods full with pea like seeds. You wait for the pod to become on the brownish side and it easily opens. Do not wait until they open and the seeds drop on the ground.
