It sounds like you're dealing with a boot loop issue while installing macOS on VMware. This can be a common problem, but there are a few steps you can try to resolve it: 1. **Check Virtual Machine Settings**: Ensure that the virtual machine settings are configured correctly. Sometimes, incorrect settings can cause boot loops. Make sure you have selected the correct guest operating system (macOS) and allocated enough resources (CPU, memory) to the virtual machine². 2. **Update VMware Tools**: Ensure that you have the latest version of VMware Tools installed. This can help resolve compatibility issues that might be causing the boot loop³. 3. **Use the Correct ISO or VMDK File**: Make sure you are using a compatible macOS ISO or VMDK file. Sometimes, using an outdated or corrupted file can cause installation issues¹. 4. **Apply VMware Unlocker**: If you haven't already, you might need to use VMware Unlocker, a tool that allows VMware to run macOS. This tool can help bypass some of the restrictions that might be causing the boot loop¹. 5. **Change Guest OS to Windows Temporarily**: Some users have found success by temporarily changing the guest OS to Windows 10 x64 during the installation process and then switching it back to macOS¹. 6. **Check for Updates**: Make sure both your VMware software and your host operating system are up to date. Sometimes, updates can include fixes for issues like boot loops³. If you follow these steps, you should be able to resolve the boot loop issue and complete the installation. Let me know if you need further assistance!

Im still encountering the infinite boot loop after this fix. It says "Your computer restarted because of a problem. Press any key or wait a few secounds to continue starting up". I have an AMD Ryzen 5600x and added these to the config file:

cpuid.0.eax = "0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:1011"
