      oh you are so right! I fast forward on those but most of the time the people are so self absorbed that it doesn't show me much (or maybe I get so annoid that once I fast forward I have given up by then!

    I might try it with first aid tape. That way the picture won’t rip if I have to change the lights at some point. What a brilliant idea this is!!!!!

    I wish I could hit the like button 100 times. If you had not showed how you made these, you could have, or still can sale these for $20.00 or more. I have seen similar at Hobby Lobby for $29.99. These are awesome. Many Thanks for showing of your talents.

    This is absolutely beautiful and for once l happen to already have everything l need for this project on hand. My mind is racing with ideas. lt's December 20th and my holiday decorating has long been done, but this is so good, l don't want to wait until next Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration!

    One of those light up underneath tables would help you see the image better and help with placement of the lights.

    I did something similar. Used the shadow box, the little red truck with tree on the back. Made mountains behind it as if he were coming down from getting a tree. And put 2 sets of lights on it. It looks like the truck has headlights
    Such a neat project to work on. Wish I could you a picture of it.

Where I live I can't find bags like those at our dollar store's and I was wondering if that the real name of the stores where you live because we call ours here in Canada, Nova Scotia Dollar store?     Very cute. How did you know where to put pencil marks on the back cuz the bag doesn't seem to be see through? I would like to try it this yr for Christmas gifts. 🎅🎄🎁 thanks for sharing

      I held bag up against window and marked in the back with a pencil where I wanted the lights to go....

    Really cute idea. It seems like it would be easier to just poke tiny holes from the front of where you want your lights to come through. Rather than holding the bag up to the light etc. Then push the lights through the holes!

    With light pack on the back how do you hang it and without a stand how do you stand it on a shelf? Love this and plan to make some but would like to know how you do it. Thx for sharing!

      The frames I used, you can just stand or lean on a shelf. Or use an easel

    I made one three years ago on canvas for hubs birthday... he’s a marine veteran so I painted tanks and other things added lights it looks like the tank is firing he absolutely loved it

      light strings can be found almost anywhere...walmart, dollar tree, amazon, micheals, etc.....There are different sizes available from large bulbs down to what is called rice lights (or fairy lights) ...They last as long as the battery will. Some have auto shut off and timed turn on....Just shop for what you can afford. They all work the same pretty much
