xbow is such a defensive deck and has such a bad reputation, and CR wanted a more fast paced playstyle instead of a slow paced only defending until double elixir kind of playstyle, so even if xbow gets into the meta they'll prob nerf it in the next balance changes

I hate royal hogs I’m terrible with them but everyone who uses them against me can defend a 300 elixir push with a royal delivery + cannon + log
