After watching 2017 World Championships there is a lot of new young talent and without a doubt, Christopher Taylor will make his mark internationally in the years ahead however , there will always be only one Usain Bolt .
You got this Chris. Discipline is all you need to be great in athletics, don't let anyone side-rail you. Hearken to your mentors and coaches. -Looking forward to many memorable moments.
I heard 44.6 pretty good for 18 year old but he has a lot of competition a couple 45 second. Runnets in usa his age and a white guy in usa 1 year older than him that runs 45.18 indoors and. 20.58. Outdoor s
This kid has some interesting running technique. In one race he may change from running with a closed fist and then he changes to a flat hand or the other way around.
Jamaican, not World. Bloomfield much faster at this stage. Also, what about Rai Benjamin or better yet, Michael Norman who is almost 1.5 seconds faster at 400? Or every Jamaican's farourite (LOL) Noah Lyles in 100 or 200?
Very different style to Bolt who had such freakish speed for his height. This young man looks good for a 200 and 400 career. Let's hope he can realise all his potential.
Matthew Boling and Christopher Taylor are both phenoms. Their personal best times are close. Boling has a 9.98 100m all conditions backed up by a 10.13 USA High school record, Taylor has a 10.11 100m personal best and junior record. Boling's 200m best time is 20.58, Taylor's is 20.35. Bolings best 400m time is 46.15 (he had a 44.74 split in a 4x400 relay) and Taylor's best is 44.86. Boling just started running the 100m and 200m this year, and is 8 months younger than Taylor. It will be fun to watch as these two young runners mature. I don't think they will be strong enough for the 2020 Olympics, but watchout for 2024.
update to 2019 . he is only 8 10ths off the world record recorded in 2018 . 44.88 . he is only 1.14 seconds off the 200 world record . and he only 20 now .
Even the people from the Caribbean and Central America can call themselves Americans. Don't they belong to the continent of North America just as the people of the United States? Equally, Pele, Ronaldinho, and Messi can also call themselves Americans for they come from the continent of South America.
i was going to say look at the opposition , but i clocked it at 47 seconds . he is only 4 seconds off the world record . and he layed off towards the end . wow
colly392 I honestly think it is smart to keep him running these 400’s, because when he does choose to specialize in the 100m, and 200m, he will be head and shoulders above the rest with endurance. That longer distance training is imperative for shorter distance performance.
@@schiggymaster2028 it's not that...you typed a time of 11:50...aying you're faster...and that's not faster than anyone in this video...so I repeat...Your math sucks.
He can be the next Usain Bolt..if he wants to be..he is a jamaican..if he gets a good coach he could do great things so I agree totally..you all forget that he smashes Usain Bolt national junior record?..and don't for get that Taylor do..400 , 200 and 100m

Taylor, Forte will definitely be forces to recond with.. well that's if Blake and the Jamaican coach don't pull somethin outta they ass next year.. but everyone need to watch out for Su the China boy.. he coming out like a Kung Fu movie...
With the times I see him running he would not be an automatic win in the California state finals...just one of the favorites Obea Moore from Mmuir Pasadena was better 1994-1996

It is pretty sad. When they are showing raw track and field talent. Yet 5here are so many small minds on here that's pretty much focused on skin color. Population. And countries wealth and financial standing. SO WHAT !!! So I'll say it from America. Big ups and much respect. I'm an American who ran back in my day. I can foresee Americans being OWNED on the track by this kid in the near future. Like if you agree
arabion knights I’m black but I still consider myself an American

Christopher Taylor is the next usain bolt champion
This guy looks greatly impressive, when his he coming on the big stage
nothing short of talent here..very good yute
Matthew Boling is faster in the 100 and 200 but this kid’s 400 is incredible.
their 100m is equal, 200m is very close, 400m Taylor wins by a landslide...Keep in mind Taylor did em all at a younger age.
Need to let him do more 100's; guy may actually be even better there than at 400m as hard as that may be to fathom

He has fantastic speed and speed endurance
He's not the new usain bolt he's Christopher Taylor
Wtf dont copy loser
New kid on the block. He will do good at the olympics.
Never compare anyone to Usain Bolt. There is only one, and there will only be one.
I keep hearing “mister potata!”
The man baddd i love him so much he is lighten
Youngster is something serious... hopefully Olympics...
Well he surely Dominated like Usain during his Champs career, everybody that lined up against him was fighting for 2nd place!!
Sky's the limit for this young man
All he needs is some very intense training and we will all have to keep a close eye on him. .
On the last race did anyone think the dude almost beat Chris recorded better time. Unless Chris deliberately trolled him
No matter what lane they put him he will win cause he was born to run
That last race was a CLASSIC....
Yes for sure
