🇨🇦I hear you . Now see it from this point. I heard similar comments when stores put out Christmas in August. But for those of us who are limited in funds we have to plan way ahead as there was only so many pay cheques before Christmas. Now since the world has gone to the dark side it’s a blessing they open even earlier so that , like you, we can make a Christmas to remember for our families. Be kind and understanding with true Christmas spirit. Xox
Not a bad idea, so many people visit London in the summer, they can buy some nice decorations because they would probably not visit at Christmas time.

Welp, it's kind of early. But on the other side it will be great for tourists to buy a great gift ahead of time as a keepsake for themselves or for the family

I have taken advantage of buying Christmas things at Harrods in the summer several times over the years. Their Christmas department is beautiful.

I worked at Hobby Lobby and they started putting Christmas out in July and actually some things were coming in the freight room way before July.
Love Christmas in July. I would get a snow globe or Nutcracker for my green bag.

I tried to look online on Harrods and the online store does not even have the Christmas shop open yet. So I think the Christmas decorations are only in the store proper. However, if you find Christmas open on their website, could you please share? All the best ones will be gone of they wait until November to open online. Thank you.

Here in the USA, fabric shops and craft shops have large Christmas In July sections to encourage us to get started on our handmade projects. Paper crafting companies release their Christmas collections starting in July as well. What would I buy? OO-oo-oo! I am really drawn to all the gingerbread and candy items...ornaments, table decorations, etc. Sweet Christmas items!! Do I see a basket of snail ornaments in the Scout About section? Nice! Sardine tin is rather unique. This has been such an interesting video! Thank you...much appreciated!

i bought a christmas snowman at Harrods in 1975, every year it comes out and is like old friend.
Those sort of decorations are fantastic, that take you back in time and there for you every year 👍😀

The tradicional Chirstmas I LOVE.
Well, I think it’s a little too early to be putting them up but if you are crazy about Christmas and you only have small amount of time and money to buy everything you want to decorate your home. It’s a great idea to have it up early for you have time to purchase what you need. They have some fabulous, beautiful things that I’m sure are very expensive but like a lot of times if I have the money and the time I can pick up one piece a month and by Christmas I would have enough for a beautiful display and if I didn’t have all these months I could not possibly spend that much money at one time they had some beautiful, black and white pieces. I would’ve loved to picked up. I do a lot of McKenzie Childs Decour in my home and the black and white pieces will go perfect with it. Thanks so much for sharing. I loved these beautiful beautiful Christmas decor items they had. We live in America in California to be exact and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen so many beautiful pieces before in one place but I could see I could spend a lot of money here if I had five months to spend it for Christmas. Thanks so much for sharing. I watch the video from the beginning to the end, didn’t want to miss any of the beautiful Christmas decor and the beautiful displays. It always gives me a great idea what I can do to make my house look beautiful for the holidays. Thanks for sharing my dear friend.

Hello from Oregon, USA. I've never been to London but it would be my first choice if I were to travel abroad. I've been wanting a London phone booth for a few years so I would definitely buy one of those and I really liked the gingerbread guard station and the ball ornaments with the landmarks. I love Christmas so bring it on!🎄

Hairy Nutcrackers are traditional , even though Harrods may have taken a while to cotton on, the proper German ones used rabbit fur but today I’m sure they’ll be synthetic . I love them and thanks for the walk through , magical .

I’m in Australia and it’s weird for me for you guys to speak about it being cold and Christmas when we have a beautifully hot Christmas. 😂 it has always been weird singing about “dashing through the snow” when it’s 44’c outside 😂

It’s never too early to plan for Christmas! Plus when the store is a major tourist destination, year round would be fantastic for Christmas decor. I visited London years ago the end of March and LOVED my visit to Harrods. Would have loved to have picked up a Christmas ornament as a remembrance of my trip! I did buy several gifts at Harrods for family and they, too, would have loved a Harrods Christmas ornament.

When I watch your Christmas Harrods specials I always order online. Christmas in July. We have a store based in Oklahoma- corp is here called Hobby Lobby and they already have all the Christmas displayed so when I see Harrods Christmas it makes me so happy.

Christmas in July!!! Yes!! In USA it’s a thing we do every year! Love it!!!
No its not too early. If I do not buy my Christmas decorations BY September early, I lose out. And it is getting earlier every year. So yes, July is a good time to get shopping for my decorations. And it is not a joke, it is a blood bath out there with women scarfing up all the best decorations. The baubles are my absolute favorite decoration to buy at Christmas. ANd you have shown some BEATUFIUL baubles. Now you said "if money was not object", and "if you had all the money in the world, which would you go for"? Well I can tell you that when money is an object and I have very little money in the world, I WILL go for it! I purchase baubles every Christmas to add to my trees. So I see several I would already buy and I am only 5 minutes in! And if anyone else is reading my comment from the US, be informed that when you go to purchase online, some of the beautiful inventory as you see in Steve's videos are not available on the website to buy online. They dont sell some of them online on the website as they do in the real store.. I remember your videos in Christmas of 22 with all the nice London stores, and there were several things I wanted that where abundant in stock in the store. However, when I went to look for them on their websites, they were not there. I have several McKenzie Childs items over many decades and my Mother also left us some. But the thing as things being so expensive, we do want to realize that these items are heirlooms. They are passed down many generations and become more valuable over the years. The special designed baubles that are limited edition become very valuable over the decades. So I love buying them. However, I would not buy any of the Coke or Coca Cola items. Not. No hot dog, or fries. Sorry, no cheesy American stuff on my tree. 🙄🙄😒 I get enough cheesy American stuff just driving around in my country. 😵😵😱 I do not like the disco scene either. The decorations from 13:00 to 13:20 are gorgeous!!! I would definitely go for a few of those. This was a fabulous video and I am going to check out the Harrods website and see what is there. Such beautifully decorated store as well. Love the green bags. Blessings.

We love Harrods, especially at Christmas. We visit from the US every year just for photographs with St Nick & to buy London theme decorations (some of ours are 50+ years old and falling to pieces, but we still hang them). ❤ We noticed 2023 ornaments just like ours from decades gone by. Nut crackers with beards? Gasp! HATE it. Won’t be buying any of those. You asked which department we’d like to see - yes please. For gifts, we buy their gorgeous cutting boards with knife sets and London themed dinnerware. We’d love for you to take us shopping in that department. 😊 thank you so much. 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Love those old types of decorations that you don't know how they survive year after year, but a must for the tree. Are you making it over this year before Christmas? Love the dinnerware idea to film 🎥 and have put that on the list, didn't know about the London theme and looking forward to seeing that, thank you 👍😀
Unfortunately, because of a family crisis in July 2022, we didn’t make it last year nor will we make it this year. Whaaaa whaaaa whaaaa. My DNA is 100% UK and I so wish my family had stayed there. Love, love, love Scotland, England, and Wales. Always feels like home and everyone there feels like family. 😍

I think it’s brilliant opening the Christmas rooms so early! Visitors to London can bring back a lovely holiday memento. I love holiday trees filled with treasured memories collected one by one over a lifetime. I’d opt for one of the glass or felt dogs, I think. Or possibly a glass London-themed bauble.

I have Victorian theme Christmas baubles and I place them here and there all over the house like on top of potpourri or adorning my BR dresser, etc. and enjoy them year round...they don't look necessarily strictly Christmasy which is why when I like them they blend in with my decor.
We hang London themed decorations all over our house for year-round enjoyment. It nourishes the soul.

I always have three trees, one all in white, one with glass and chrystal and one with a woodland theme, bunnies, mushrooms, deer, foliage etc I also decorate the hallway and all the chandeliers!

I thought I'd type in Harrods Christmas seeing that the Christmas display was early this year and there you were! A lovely video and beautiful decorations, I love all things London and love traditional red and green decorations so I'd buy those x
