Gandora X isn't even that good anymore tbh. Plenty of cards out there that wipe boards, and even then it only wipes monsters. It has no inherent effect that allows it to be brought out easily. Both its summon and effect can be negated so any QE negate can deal with it. This card got banned 3 years ago, and should be unbanned now - it is no threat to the meta game. Elpy is banned. Eclipse Wyvern and Dragon Rulers are banned. The FTK is the least of our worries - especially with DD Dynamite FTK at large.

Biggest gripe about Gandora X being banned is one less Gandora name in grave to power up Gigarays with. But at least we still have a main deck Zeroboros.

The biggest solution to solving Gandora Giga Rays the Dragon of Destruction’s effect is simple. Konami makes a new Gandora card. That way since Demolition will forever be banned (I don’t see it being unbanned anyway, I’m always ready to put my foot in my mouth), Giga Rays can still apply it’s full effect if three Gandora monsters with different names are in the Graveyard.

As someone who plays a strict gandora deck this is very satisfying to see , it's always so funny to watch gandora make everything go into the banish pile, any deck made it to plat) so yes any deck can make it to plat

@@JmDGamez More like given the bad experiences but hey who Master Duel can't say that? The 'hellspawn' part was for the Zombie Control. That stuff is just ridiculously terrible to go up against in a row. Time Thief pure or Raiders builds are fine in my book. But Zombie Control + anything is evil.

Hmm I used to play "Power of Chaos" where lot of exploitable cards effect can make duel really fun or trolling. But watching this winning game from 1st turn is whole new level of confusion not sure if I'll be enjoying as well
that's just how yugioh is nowadays. No shortage of turn 1 win conditions, overwhelming control boards, omni-negate boards. At lower ranks it's not so bad, but at Gold/Platinum is where it starts to become a bit rough
Gandora Gigarays is OP. This card would be actually the winner of the battle between Kaiba and Yugi from Yugioh Dark side of the dimensions if only Kaiba didn't "cheat" by making up an ability of Deep Eyes White dragon that destroys the monster when it is destroyed.
It even has that effect in real life
It wasn't even Gandora Gigarays, it was Gandora-X the Dragon of Demolition that was summoned in Dark Side of Dimensions. And, he used it to destroy Deep-Eyes White Dragon which has the effect of destroying all monsters on the field when it's destroyed by card effect.

Gandora has always eben one of my Absolute Favorite cards. Any cards, archtypes that helps for a gandora deck?
The closest archetype I run with Gandora are lightsworn so I can milk the deck to either draw Gandora or get one of them sent to the GY
Other cards are just mass-banish cards like pot of extravagance, Gizmek Orochi or Eater of Millions so that I can fuel Gandora or Gren Maju enough for an OTK

Dark world dealings. Caution with it: you lose a card (Dark world dealings), draw one card, and discard one. So, in reality, you are losing one card in your hand (although I admit this card is useful in improving th quality of your hand).
@@pogffa ohh thanks for that info.. I would rather have that card than that other spell card that lets you draw one card if you have 3 or more on your hand then discard all hand cards once I end my turn..

OCG gandora X does burn damage equal to the highest attack, not highest original attack like in TCG.
It's an FTK piece like Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis, the Cannon Soldiers, Amazoness Archer etc.

The only thing I can think of is that they felt sorry for the person playing Gandora and let themselves die, or they were an idiot.
He already burned Balerdrochs banish and negate for the turn.
Balerdroch's Negate was first used on Gizmek Orochi, the Banish was then also used on Orochi
