    If you are thinking about which trim accord to get, save up money and get the touring. Seriously. It's worth every penny, and you feel like you're getting way more than what you paid for. Plus it's a Honda, so if you treat it well it will last well over 200,000 miles with minimal maintenance. The Honda Touring is the best car on the market as far as I'm concerned all things considered.

    I’ve had a Camry, a TL, a G35, a BMW 330, a BMW 525, a Mercedes C350 and now a V6 Honda Accord (2014). I really like this car, from the looks (it’s GORGEOUS) to the really great reviews. Why buy an import when you can get such quality from an Accord? Not one day has gone by that I regretted trading my Mercedes for my 14 Accord (other than the sound system). My Accord has been so easy on maintenance and so frugal. I’ve had stank air ventilation with BMW and Mercedes as well plus the frequent need for new tires. Pass me with those money pits!

    Totally agree with every point. I drove anAccord 20 years ago and loved it. Favorite car. Then started a family and have been driving Toyota Sienna minivans (highly recommended.....amazing turn radius😊), but now that my family has grown, I decided to check out the Accord again. Man-oh-Man am I happy I did. I grabbed the 2018 2.0 EX-L Modern Steel (same color as in your vid) and I can say without reservation that it is easily my favorite car I’ve ever driven. The style, the speed, the handling, the comfort, the convenience, the fit and finish, the space (I‘m 6’ 2” and have more than enough room) and above all the FUN! For the price the Honda Accord punches way above it’s weight.

    Good review, I got the 2.0 Sport and it's a sweet ride for sure. I tuned it up with Ktuner and at stage 2 it now has extra 60whp and up to 88lb-ft of torque which is pretty sick on the road. I was debating either Hondata or Ktuner but ultimately went with Ktuner and so far so good :P

    My uncle used to own a refreshed 2016 Model S P90D that had Autopilot 2.0. He loved the car (to begin with), but within 2 days of ownership he got into a very minor fender bender (a lady in a Yukon backed into his driver side door and fender) and it took exactly 3 months to get his car back that only had 73 miles on it. Once he got it back from the body shop and spent more time with it he started noticing issues with the QC and how door panels wouldn’t match up and how the exterior chrome trim was popping out of place and many other small QC issues, overall he complained about how the cars interior build quality wasn’t much better than the interior of a Chevy Cruze...and considering how much of a “everything must be perfect” kind of guy my uncle is he traded the car with 238 miles on it. Don’t get me wrong he said he loved how the car drove, looked and he loved the features is offered (especially the Autopilot) but he felt as if Tesla’s quality didn’t match the price you payed for it, so he traded for a 2017 BMW 7 Series and he’s feels as if the quality matches the price of the BMW. He wants another Tesla but won’t be buying one until the quality gets better. I love Tesla but the quality control is a huge downside to owning one.

    • @Tu-kw4zx
      @Tu-kw4zx 6 лет назад

      BMW interior is dated and plain ugly. I wouldn't even pay that price for a plain interior.

    • @tylerchamberlain857
      @tylerchamberlain857 6 лет назад +1

      Tu I never said the interior was beautiful however the overall quality and fit and finish in the BMW is miles above Tesla. The interior in the BMW is adequate, but really all that matters is that my uncle finds the interior nice and he does so it is what it is.

    My ex dogged me for paying nearly 30k for a Honda, but at least my car will last 2x/3x longer than a lot of other brands. I've had mine for 3 weeks. Upgraded from a Civic - both cars are amazing, but I wanted a more "elevated" car, more safety tech, and something with a little more space. I chose a '20 Accord EX in White. Love it.

      I own this car because I got a crazy good deal on the lease. This car is not all that great. It does a lot of things but it does them all wrong. First of all the sound system is the worst, dont take my word for it look at all the other reviewers on you tube. The infotainment system relies heavily on android auto and apple car play to be decent. What does this mean to you? It means all your business is thrown up on the head unit for all your passengers to see. For a touring car the passenger seat bottom will not tilt so you feel like you are sliding off if the back rest is at a slight angle. The resolution on the back up cam sucks. I can go on and on. What I do like is the looks and handling of the car. Outside of that this guy over hyped the car. I have not driven the KIA Stinger but at a starting price of 33k it has more power and is rear wheel drive and the interior looks better from what i have seen.

    @pedroc6823 6 лет назад +2

    It has nothing to do with Acura. But its a combination of several things. 1-Not enough internal body sound dampening. 2-Tires and wheels size and type of tire. 3-That fancy infotainment system many like? well the big reason they did that its because its cheaper to do that then build a molded area to flush mount a screen which would also had helped with noise because it also adds a bit of mass. 4-Unfortunately those that are raving about the 2.0 Turbo will soon drive them crazy, Smaller motors with forced induction make more noise. There is probably an issue with the thickness of the wind shield also..
    My 14 Accord V6 is so darn quiet and smooth and does not suffer from any noise issue the new ones do. I was with my friend in his very old lexus, still quiet and smooth. These are things that you can take care of but at the price you paid for the car should not have been an issue. The newness wears off and when it does it will get worse. Its a very nice car but in my opinion has a long way to go.

    • @jamesmedina2062
      @jamesmedina2062 6 лет назад

      Pedro C This is sadly true but that's something engineered into all the German makes and some Japanese makes like Lexus via a double firewall and engine covers that go a long way towards mitigating the noise from the fuel pump and vibration noises. Honda is underperforming in NVH mitigation.

    First off, Congrats! I'm jealous! That too, coming from a driver of a 2012 Nissan Maxima V6. I test drove the 2018 Accord during the Summer and can first hand validate for you, with or without Sport Mode, the Accord will tear the shit out of my Maxima in a race, unquestionably!
    Secondly, If the car can turn on the heated seats for you on a cold day, can it do the vice versa (i.e., vented seats on a hot day in the Summer)? I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area and this would be a winner for me if it were capable of doing this.
    Finally, Is the AT&T Hotspot being activated a requirement to have the Honda Link Service work via the app for you? I have my own Hotspot on my cellphone and was wondering if the Car's built in hotspot is a contingency for this to work or not?
    I apprecaite your in dept 2 part video. It was really well done and documented but just one piece of feedback though. In the beginning portions of your drive, your GoPro camera was mounted and pointed towards the rearview mirror to the extent that it made watching the drive a little difficult as the ideal view would have been to have the camera leveled out to just below the rearview mirrior to see what's directly ahead of you. Also, you were trying to point out the push button transmission gearbox in the car, which is an excellent feature of this car. Having the camera at the level I'm suggested would have helped the viewers see that much more clearly.
    Anyhows, congrats again!

    I don't known the price you paid you can get Acura which is much better then Honda only Honda service is cheaper then Acura but Acura is Acura I agree I had Acura in 2007 then brought BMw , Audi but finally purchase again Acura in 2018 BMW drive good but not reliable Audi is reliable but they don't have feather like Acura so Acura and Honda is reliable and great feathers

      JET997u My new Civic too was noisy. I did lots and lots of work. The door panels lacked insulation. The carpet has good thick pad already. The firewall and tunnel has gaps and not enough insulation (heatshield variety) so I added it from DEI. The wheel wells indeed were bad in front whereas the rear have felt so I added felt to the front liners. It is now pretty good but even just the door rubber insulation is not as good as in others.
