    Which of these two devices do you prefer using for measuring your jumps ?
    Team Woo or Surfr App ?

      I think a lot of people prefer Woo because as you showed here - it shows a higher height!

    I bought the 12 and 9m Reach cause I was and still am looking to learn hydrofoil as well and so I need an all rounder. Honestly, I love the kites and I was now twice able to ride with a 9m in 35knots. Although it was way too strong, the kite was so forgiving.
    Lastly, I would like to try the orbit some day to feel it myself but for now I'm loving my Reach models.

      Hey Oleg,
      Yes the idea of using the 9m and 12m kite on around 25 knots would be interesting to test which one would go higher,. If I will have an opportunity I will do this test as well. Thank you :))

    Hey really enjoy your´e videos! Keep em coming
    What would you recommend, if you should have a mix set up between reach and orbit in 4 kites and why? For a rider around 72 kilos in winds between 15-35 knots doing anything from big air, freeride and strapless

    • @kitesurfexperiencebypetar
      @kitesurfexperiencebypetar  2 года назад

      Hey thank you so much :))
      I recommend for you as 72kg
      - 7m Orbit
      - 9m Orbit
      - 12m Reach
      - 15m Reach
      Orbit is perfect for strong windy days, but I personally don’t like Orbit in big sizes as I don’t find then well flying in Light wind conditions.
      The reach 2022 is amazing, even in small sizes but anyway Orbit is slightly better for boosting high. 15m reach would be perfect for you in Light windy days, you should be able to have fun already from 10knots, and it’s surprisingly nice for jumping compering to other 15m models I tried 🙌🏼

    • @srenbisgaardandersson4966
      @srenbisgaardandersson4966 2 года назад +1

      Cannot see the need for 15m kite if you weight 72 kg's. I would say 12 max and then perhaps 8+10 orbit. Depending on what you want to do you could then add a kite in 7-10 range for wave or freestyle if you do any of this.

      @@kitesurfexperiencebypetar Very interesting, hardly any difference really. Which made me wonder which one you actually felt was the nicest to use and gave you the most confidence to catch you or was the most forgiving when you needed to make a save? Because I felt like although you didn't directly say it - that you prefer the Reach even though it jumped slightly lower?

    • @kitesurfexperiencebypetar
      @kitesurfexperiencebypetar  2 года назад +1

      @@ashleydavis614 Hey Ashley, yes it true that I am still not sure which one I prefer, even if the Reach doesn't go higher, I feel it better on the bar so it's more predictable. So I highly recommend Reach 2022 for someone doing his first loops.

      Honestly I have never tried 10m Reach not even 10m Orbit...I usually prefer Orbit in Small sizes and Reach in bigger sizes... I can just assure you that 10m Orbit needs more. wind to fly than 10m Reach, but if it's 17-21 knots with you 70kg Orbit 10m I believe would be perfect
