  • Erlangshan Tunnel, also known as the "New Erlangshan Tunnel",
    Located in Ya 'an and Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China,
    Crossing Erlang Mountain,
    It is a full-line control project of Ya 'an-Yecheng Expressway (National expressway G4218).
    When completed, it was the longest highway tunnel in Sichuan Province,
    It is known as the "No. 1 Tunnel in Sichuan-Tibet".
    Erlangshan Tunnel started construction in August 2012;
    On September 26, 2017, the double line was connected;
    It opened to traffic on December 31, 2017.
    Erlangshan Tunnel is designed as a separate two-way four-lane highway crossing tunnel.
    The main line of the tunnel is arranged in an east-west direction.
    The left line of Erlangshan Tunnel is 13,459 meters long,
    The right line is 13,406 meters long,
    The project cost is 2.166 billion yuan,
    Design speed 80 km/h,
    Building limit 10.25 m x 5.0 m.
    Tunnel left line entrance elevation 1461.09 meters,
    Exit elevation 1571.35 meters;
    Right line entrance elevation 1461.24 meters,
    The exit elevation is 1571.35 meters.
    Erlang Mountain is the watershed between Qingyi River and Dadu River.
    Spread north and south, steep mountains, peaks,
    The mountain is thick, the maximum depth of the tunnel is 1500 meters,
    2000-4000 meters above sea level,
    The relative height difference of 1000~2000 meters is deep mountain canyon area;
    Erlang Mountain tunnel is located in the Longmen Mountain fault,
    Xianshuihe fault and Chuandian fault are composed of three active faults
    "Y" structure system intersection site,
    Through 13 faults, 11 sets of strata, 12 lithologies.
    The Ya 'an end of the tunnel consists of three Triassic, Devonian,
    Silurian and Ordovician SLATE, limestone,
    Siltstone and other sedimentary rocks: the Kangding end of the tunnel is dominated by granite,
    Andesite, diorite and other magmatic rocks.
    The main bad geology of the tunnel includes regional active faults,
    High ground stress rock burst and large deformation, high pressure water inrush,
    Gas and the thick cover of the entrance,
    Among them, the tail branch of the southwest section of Longmenshan fault zone
    (Fault of the East, middle and west branches of Erlang Mountain),
    Baoxinchang - Huangyi fracture,
    The Luding East Branch fault is a middle Pleistocene regional active fault.
    It is a tunnel of "high seismic intensity, high ground stress, high pressure water gushing".
    Therefore, the tunnel is also known as the "geological museum".
