What a sobering, smashing track! I love how the song oscillates between relatively quiet phases decorated with chiming guitars (3:44, 1:18), Tamsin's delicately wispy voice, and their characteristic use of atmospheric reverb (0:07, 'Centipede'), and compellingly urgent segments washed with forceful electric guitar strumming (0:21) and drowned-out backing vocals. A fittingly unsettling video on dissociative identities as well - Tamsin's supposedly better self, the one dressed in white, appears to be so helpless, tormented and in despair here. Really thoughtful track reflective of the human condition/psyche.
