I RNG citadeled an acutely angled G.K. earlier. I had aimed superstructure with my Montana, then zoomed in to watch my shells impact, as I am working on my aim. I saw several shells miss due to horizontal dispersion, but one hit his deck between his secondaries, and from the angle, hit his citadel just forward of his #3 turret. American superheavy AP shell arcs... I also got citadeled through the foredeck of my Alaska while bow tanking, which... annoyed me. Another Montana, I believe.
That citadel hit is what happened today when I shot a bow in gneisenau's SS with my baltimore and got a citadel I was so shocked and that guy mustve been so angry 😂

I got the California and the Anshan last night from one of those spectral crate offers, and I have been wanting the Cali for a while now. Was hoping for a T8 destroyer, maybe Elbing or Z-44 but I'm happy enough with what I got for now.

I had the worst luck in a NC. Both of my front turrents were destroyed in a ranked battle...... had 50k health and a Connecticut took out both front turrets.
I believe the problem is your build, the build I use is AP damage multiplication and grouping, one of the last times I played, I got 8 citadels, destroying 2 yamatos that were in division, it was one of my biggest records, but my team was too bad and we lost. I saved the video, then I'll upload it to RUclips, I have several cool videos to upload, one where I managed to sink 7 ships with the Brandenburg.
colombo is very nasty in the right hand, anyways will you do any brawls spartaan i finished it with NO LOSE lmao, and its so fun i wish youd try it with doria.
I got it today and played 10 games. 130k damage average (vs 104k for Yamato). The 360 degrees turrets alone make it better than any other bb. I find it ineffective against good players who are angled. Against good players Yamato or Conquerer are better. Cheers !
i think that colombo is best and then lepanto, it was a hard grind to get to lepanto because i dont like italian ship line, the accuracy just sucks. so i agree with you, i would take most of the french battleships with jugard and the lower caliber guns over the italian ships.
I'm working on Vermont right now but Columbo is on my radar. Unfortunately I don't play the game a whole lot anymore and almost never legendary tier. Too expensive and not a fun tier to pay at with a team full of potatoes.

I've played Legends for a LONG time, and I can say that Columbo, while not as common today as it was before since it's very light nerfs, Is still and will be for a WHILE, the reigning king of Legendary tier BBs. The ship can actually angle properly and bounce shells thanks to those 360 degree turrets. It highlights why some other Legendary Battleships are so inferior, it's all in the turret firing angles. WG will need to either release new ships with better turret firing angles, or update old models to allow ships to angle better. Until that happens, Columbo will be the undisputed king of Legends BBs. It's cool if you're an Italian BB fan, but VERY bittersweet if not.
Lauria isn’t OP, and it’s probably worse than Columbo overall. But your review of the actual ship didn’t accurately represent the ship at all. It would be like doing a review of the Conqueror and saying the ship was crap, since the AP is mediocre and then saying “it’s not worth firing the HE since you can’t citadel almost anything with it, and I didn’t get good damage with it. But at least it has good heals”. Also, you say the Columbo is “the one Italian battleship to not have SAP main guns”. Y’know that there are only 2 Italian battleships with SAP. Lauria and the other premium tier 8 Italian battleship (Can’ think of the name right now)? All other Italian battleships get SAP secondaries and AP/HE on the main guns, like Columbo
I think I dropped 300 bucks for that new Italian battleship and yeah I can care less. Colombo is definitely better. For the situation of legendary I’m actually kinda upset. I spent all that money and I only got 100 premium days last year. I had almost 2000. But I spent it all on shipbuilding projects.

The issue here is not that the Pro-Lauria Crowd is wrong and Spartan is right...nor is it the other way around either...though Spartan may like to think, at times, that he's more right than an opposing opinion on various subjects, because it's good for the channel when the comments and views are up, but i digress. The Lauria can absolutely be the best Legendary battleship when in capable hands of some of the best players out there like Metajerk among others, so there is that... Record-breaking scores on any given day, does not a great battleship make alone...lots of things can define any warship and like audio equipment, the opinions at best are subjective in the vast majority of cases therein. The truth is no one is really right or wrong about it. What's absurd is that we live in an era where people can't universally agree to disagree. They must project being more correct at all times. No one should be offended if Spartan has a ship opinion however in all fairness, I've seen Spartan beg to differ with opinions in the comment sections from time to time, so he is not without sin by any means...and I base that position on being a 4-year subscriber who has watched every Spartan video related to this game. If you the reader own a Lauria and remain convinced it's the best Italian battleship and/Legendary battleship....you are correct and if Spartan doesn't agree, then he's correct as well. There is no 'one way only' in this game when it comes to ship preferences. There is no absolute consensus 'one size fits all' for anyone regarding commander builds...just be yourself, play your ships and do your thing out there. Does Moony think Lauria is better than Columbo? I don't know. I do have the Columbo but will not be obtaining the Lauria. I can say as a player out there, that the ship, from my own interactions with it as an ally and enemy, that the Lauria appears to be very good when played correctly, but that rule applies to just about any ship in the game. After four years I certainly know a thing or three about WoW Legends...such as American battleships are the best quick gratification vessels to play... BUT they are Easy Button ships and that means less challenges...which promotes 2-D thinking and that prohibits growth in my opinion. Other nations are just as much fun and productive. Speaking of people who can't take losing and being killed in a battle I had a couple battles where I was just having one of those days where I never miss a single shot and killing everything that moves moments while also capturing bases and spotting for my team and I've gotten a couple messages from players that where threating me and anything you can think of they said in those messages I just ignore some of them and report them then block and delete them others I message back and say it's not my problem that your trash at the game if your blaming others for your lack of skills then you shouldn't play these kind of games that require skill and then I tell them that there words mean nothing to me and that if you want say things to other people who are better then you then I suggest you go take a good long hard look at yourself in the mirror because then you will realize that your the problem and not us lol so yeah I can relate to things like this I've experienced this in many different types of games that I love to play so I got good at giving it back to them and telling them that your not going to win when it comes to being a whiny snob hobbit little pecker prick if that's what they think then go ahead see what happens your going to lose that war lol so I can relate to you Spartan when it comes to those kind of stuff
I have played both mobile and ps4 for a long time. And it's fixed game. Spend a thousand bucks and still the game will cheat . It's stupid waste of money . Catch the game cheating . Full size battleships take off like speed boats . Dumb

If you build secondaries they are nasty but the guns are better than secondaries
