I am from Northern Ireland, I hope you enjoyed your time here. A big connection with Titanic being built here and some of the victims being buried in Nova Scotia. I believe there is an excellent museum there too.
As a Scouser from Liverpool,,,I felt so proud that liverpool was written all over the ship and lifeboats,,,,👍👍👍and I'm from Scotland road in Liverpool which again is the main walkway on titanic 👍👍👍
WOW!! ever since the recurring dream in 1985 about the discovery of the wreck, I have been ever so fascinated about the Titanic... I've always had a fascinated interest in Maritime ever since we travelled to the UK from Australia aboard the P&O Oriana...I enjoy buliding model ships of famous battleships, ocean liners and my favourite the Titanic, with it's history...my big collection with it's centre piece a statue of the Captain himself sculptured by Lady Kathryn Scott, and signed by the Captain's Great Nephew "Don Smith". I am wanting to visit Belfast when I can and would love to trully see the full tour of the exhibition, the museum and the normadic tour as well...the last remaining tender of the white star line to ferry the passengers out to the Titanic. Well Done for the video..thank-you for sharing.
Looks good day out ! But one thing, you looked out the window and caption says “Belfast harbour” no that’s where the titanic was actually built. The idea is you look out the window at the actual ship. Those long tall poles on either side represent the gantry’s
That first ship you saw was the S.S Nomadic it was a ship that was around since 1911 and that’s the actual Nomadic itself it’s the only white star line ship that’s still around today all the other ones sank and where scrapped
She won't let anyone ever forget, that is certain. Always keep a Titanic music box in my stateroom when I travel and think of her. I wonder if Belfast exhibition is as haunted as the museums here in America? The hauntings have been proven multiple times.
I'm confused about something.. and I've always been interested in the titanic, and I noticed the launch date may 31, 1911 (7:10) in your video.. Yet in America we have been told it was 1912 And that the day it launched was it's first voyage.
so “launch” means when it left the shipyard … as in it left the shipyard and was then afloat during decorating/furnishing phase and then the sea trials which took probably the rest of the year into 1912. Her official “maiden voyage” was when she left to actually pick up passengers/transport them was in april 1912. Hope that helps :)
If I was Irish I wouldn't be proud that I built a ship that that we had said was unsinkable which sunk on its maiden voyage I would just keep quiet about it not open a museum 😅 😂😭
@@Greenwillow so because the White Star lining was an English company contracted it out to the Irish , so the Irish built it . and then it sank . I would definitely keep " that one quiet . I certainly wouldn't open a museum and boost about it lol 😂 🏴
@@jackwatsonepic626 The company and the builders were Protestant Unionists loyal to the Crown, they did not see them selves as being Irish. No Catholics Nationalists were involved so we Irish have nothing really to do with the design and the way it was built. You do realise the Museum is in Belfast which is in the UK. There is smaller exhibition to the Irish who were on the Titanic it is in Cobh(Queenstown). You should really read up a little before commenting.
Thanks for posting this intresting video

@halfdouble thats what I meant, silly, the last remaining tender of the White Star Line that is a Museum, as the others have all been scrapped...
👍👏😊❤️ thanks for posting
Amazing video. Many thanks.
Nice video but i didn't find the exhibition to be anything i'd like.. so thanks for showing it.
Hey I am from Belfast Northern Ireland i hope you enjoy my city
Yes we loved it and hope to come back!
Perfect video! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for that bit of information. Good to know!

Belfast Northern Ireland UK
@user-qn4qz9tc6wWell said! It seems like Chris is not educated in geography 😂
Belfast is in Northern Ireland,
UK.
The ship in the dock was the nomadic the last white star line ship ever built
The dry dock do not go near it at night time very eerie & unsettling
Titanic cemetery is right outside my window. Plus the other two aren't too far.
Great video love it
Thanks for sharing, it will save me paying into it, seems over rated and the entry price too.
at 0:58 i went on the train straight over that bit to go to the Ulster Museum
Titanic Belfast is an exhibition with next to no original artifacts.
The backround "music" is dreadful. Would have been so much better without it at all.
That's nomadic
pity parts of the orginal ship not been brought back to her place of birth instead of been in a private collection so no one can see them
If this was 40 odd years ago you probably wouldn’t dream of going to belfast🤔
You still have to be careful. Hide anything that shows sides.
Belfast is not in Irland its in northern Irland
I live near belfast

Launch 31.5. 1911, next 11 months spent fitting it out.
Go sub what you wating for
You got a handsome son, sir.
The museum might be good but I strongly disagree that England is Irelands enemy. Most English respect the Irish.
i agree but i think they meant the government
I did not see a single thing!! Just fast forewards of nasty looking people......quess you have to PAY to see something.....😢
IRELAND.
NORTHERN IRELAND,,,, NOT IRELAND

It’s a piece of history, we’re proud of our place in history- not that the ship sank:)
It was an English company that owned it and boasted about it. That’s perfectly fine with me😉
