My face gets tense as soon as I see a camera pointing at me 😬 It’s not even about the poses, it’s really about relaxing the tension in my face, whether I should be smiling or not, etc. I’ve been told to squeeze the lower eye lid as well, but I have kinda big eyes so it looks unnatural when I do so! I’ll keep working on it in front of the mirror 😂
You don't have to do anything that feels or looks too weird. Your photographer should really guide rith expressions, it's the hardest to master. Or keep practicing with a mirror and selfies and find the expression that works for you
Haaa yes I did do that! 😂Sometimes you have to watch people move, I don't necessarily "pose" my clients for every single picture, I'd notice what they do naturally and if it looks good I wouldn't force any other pose instead. Some people would be more natural at moving their bodies, others would be very stiff and awkward - this is where I'd come in and pose them head to toe. Also in some cases I'd take pictures of bad poses and would tell my clients they are doing great, just so they don't feel like they can't do a certain pose, but then move on quickly to something else that looks better. Hope that makes sense
I’m baffled by people who when asked “how did you achieve, get to ____ point, etc…” and they respond by saying “just over the years” as if the “years” did the work. I’m sure there are some very practical and technical steps you made, habits you developed.
Thanks. I got some new tips but was distracted throughout the video by the giggling and unnecessary conver with the model. Also, I'd rather see you using a 'non-actor/model' in order to determine the effectiveness of your tips.

How do you pose to have that real macho logger look with chainsaws if you don't have trees in your region? But my biggest concern is looking like a idiot.
