I got mine on amazon for 13.99 plus overnight shipping was 30 total. 130 @ cummins they didnt have it and kenworth wanted 150. Pigtail was different but when i compared to old one realized i could just clip one piece of plastic off one side and it fit perfect its working will see how long it lasts
Thanks bruh I wasnt going in for service these folks are semi truck con artist. I had one change an air valve for almost 500... Part cost 12$ they charged $120 + 150 roadside + 180 labor we should report them with these false claims and upcharges for parts...
If it's really bad it will start dropping below 20psi alot.. and then the stop engine red light will begin to come on the dash as well.. I wouldn't chance it. You will feel the difference in the truck losing power . And you don't want to risk damaging your motor. If you can safely get somewhere asap park that's the best bet.
Just an update on my situation it was the oil pressure sensor and the oil pump as well. Once I change the sensore I was still getting bad reading. Dropped the oil pan and checked the oil pump and that was the issue as well. I had the original oil pump that came with my motor. Cummins now offers an upgrade to the oil pump they no longer have the throttle that opens up its now blocked off. That's what causes them to go bad on the original old pumps
What was your truck doing when you tried to start it back up?? And what happened when it shut down?? Mine was leaking real bad but when it shut down its not turning over like the motor is locked but its fuel of oil with 130,000 on the rebuilt

Thanks!! Took me 15 mins once I removed the fuel filter. Got oil pressure. Luckily it wasn't the pump.
