Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway is a fantastic ride!
I love the immersion, cartoon wackiness, and plot structure.
Despite some projections and screens sometimes throwing off the immersion, and audio sometimes being out of sync, I love this ride to pieces!
Im sure Walt would be happy with it.

I think I get more excited to see the Christmas Santa candles with chip and dale than the actual ride. Cute ride though!

I wonder what happened to the Mickey & Minnie balloon animatronic. It's been on B mode for quite a while.

That’s what I’m worried about too

And the projection mapping seems to have gotten worse; it can be clearly seen when Mickey & Minnie are moving between projectors.

@@incognito_user I don’t see anything wrong with it, but that’s just my opinion. 😅

@@bamanimates3233In the balloon scene at around 6:29 and onwards, u can see M&M's face got slightly distorted when moving around. Those are where they move between overlapping projectors

This new ride is interesting even though I remembered watching part of the Mickey Mouse cartoons on the Disney Channel during commercial breaks at one point. 🫂

I love this ride but I don’t think the Daisy part was necessary

Another cheap, lazy, screen driven "attraction" from the mouse. They know that AP's and Disney adults will eat this shit up, no matter how underwhelming it is....

I feel like the biggest problem with Runaway Railway is this overuse of projections and screens and its really annoying and doesn’t really take you feel immersion all that much. Plus if you’re really close to the projections it’s really blurry and really takes you out of the immersion And the tornado scene is the ONLY scene without projection. It’s still a great ride though definitely one of my favorites especially Disneyland’s version.

Just did the ride today as of writing, it had its jarring moments with the projections (I blame the uncanny valley), but I liked it because of how the bits of trivia during the queue. Loved that Christmas carol nod next to the disco stuff along with Prince and the pauper costumes, two of my favorite childhood movies.
