I know time has passed and the pace slows down , but don’t enjoy such classic songs being played at such a slow tempo, almost just like going through the motions.
Strange gig this. Seen a few clips from it. Energy seems lowest I've ever seen from the band. He did this in Swansea last year - the day was HOT - it started good and powerful as you'd expect but they broke it down to the rhythm which got pretty funky in a chilled way and it suited the day - worked well. This seems to have dropped too much.
I've never see a more subdued version of this. No energy from band, or audience. Paul isn't feeding off the audience and the band are picking up on that.
Make you right, Ash. Its like a rehearsal where the neighbours have gone to bed coz they got work on the early shift the next day and the band don't want wake them up......
@@johnlynch8042 I think so ! Apart from the odd tune , I think he's not produced anything that good since Whitey left . Seen him a few times lately and it's pretty average now imo . Sad !

Its really lack lustre and devoid of atmosphere. Shame coz I really like the song 🙀
