Guys, Neanderthals existed for over 300,000 years. All widely scattered species contain races. Neanderthals had races. More than one of these Neanderthal races interbred with sapiens, giving us most of the external variation we see in European and White races today.
3:32 "No clear boundary of what separates one race from another" but we have Luigi Cavalli-Sforza's spreadsheet of all the subraces and their genetic correlations with each other, and corporations that can tell me exactly that I'm 1.3% Sri Lankan Tamil if they go back 50 generations. Yeah, right.
3:55 just because Sami and Sardinians are different doesn't mean they're not a LOT CLOSER to each other than either would be to, say, Koreans or folks from the Central African Republic. Just look at Luigi Cavalli-Sforza's spreadsheet and you'll see.
I know what she means by that lie. They are trying to believe that we are direct descendants of Sub-Saharan Africans who look like modern-day African Americans or West Africans. That is further from the truth because evolution struck more than once, in different regions outside of Africa. Even if we admitted that we have one root from Africa, that root was later tainted by interior primates, mixing with the relatives of our ancestors who stayed in Africa and mixed with unknown non-humans, giving them the appearance that we see today in Nigeria or Haiti.
@@JTheHeroGaming "Race" does exist. There's a lot of variation within populations, but clearly an Englishman and a Pakistani are part of a grouping that doesn't include Sub-Saharan Africans or East Asians. Along the same lines, Native Americans and East Asians are clearly part of their own group. Along the geographic boundaries of these "races," there's mixing, which is why you have half Caucasian and half Asian people in places like some of the former Soviet republics. People who say otherwise are motivated by ideology.

Had to use the professional sounding AI voice, since the author's real voice sounds like Woody Allen
