One of the few places you've been that I've been to as well! I visited Alaska in 1986 (can't believe that's almost 40 years ago!) and took a day trip to Homer. I still remember some of the spots you include here. And of course, the mountains are still as stunning as ever. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Fantastic! I didn't know why it was Homer Spit, I am actually surprised I didn't know what a "spit" was! Cool. I made it to Alaska and will be visiting there in a few weeks! Thanks!
My dad and I watched this together (you met my dad at the globe at CBU) he also traveled Alaska and was talking about the things he did in this town while we watched it.
@@popshiking I’m just jealous he got to meet celebrity like you! I want to take the fairy from Bellingham Washington to Alaska just to say I did though.
Went in 2021 and wish I had spent more time in Homer! We spent most of the day hiking Grace Ridge acrross the harbor and I have zero regrets about that but more time in Homer would have been nice! I could spend a whole week out there!

I would have loved to do that hike. Didn’t get the chance on this trip.
