Actually xerath played well, the only thing that was really wrong was when the thresh that actually shouldnt have been there went to mid, and gragas had always an eye on faker to help him, so he realized fast when thresh was ganking midlane. and the mistake of thresh was that he leaved alone sivir a lot of time, and he ganked mid when xerath was with low health, without worrying about the faker´s team jungler. Also, Sejuani only ganked once, while gragas was making a lot of pressure by almost all of the lane phase, if not ganking just showing that he was there to "scare" xerath. I actually think that even more than just faker´s habilities at playing League, the reason of his succes in midlane is the good relation and communication he has with his jungler. Because i actually think that if it wasnt for the blue team´s low pressence jungler and the weird ganks of thresh, then Xerath would have won the lane phase. And just maybe, the game. Anyway, good communication and being cautious is also an important aptitude in League of Legends that faker has developed pretty well.
