@@FrenkTheJoy note that you said "excluding child and infant mortality". Obviously if your sample only includes older people, then the "average lifespan" goes up. It only started to noticeably increase in the 19th century.

Curiously doing research. She paid $63 for her test subject. 1 shilling in is approximated to be $.24 and with inflation rate from 1913-2020 being 2528.6%, 10 shillings comes out to $63.09
The time period here is likely between 1878 and 1900, as it is a 19th-century themed video, so we have to stay within the 1800s. So why 1878? The previous video on Phrenology would date the series to sometime between 1810 and 1840 in Europe, as that was the heyday of that particular pseudoscience. Because John Hughlings Jackson, named in this video, was not only a founding member of the scientific journal "Brain," but he also was not born until 1835. That rules out about the first half of the 1800s, I doubt he published anything worth studying by 15. If his work was being studied by our beloved Dr Hastings, it would most likely be from a publically available source. This is where Brain comes in, the scientific journal, still published today, that Jackson helped found. Its first issue was published in 1878, so more than likely, that is the earliest our story could take place. Knowing this, if we say the year is 1878, our 10 shilling price would actually today be £165.08! And as for the pseudoscience? I have no explanation

Such a refreshing & new take on a common and honestly overdone ASMR video. Amazing how you’ve turned this into such an immersive and fun series. Please keep up the 19th century videos! ❤️
Firstly, this's one of the best ASMR cranial nerve exam videos I've ever watched, I might even add it to my favourites! *Sooo many tingles!* 😌❤️ Secondly, this is a great idea for an ASMR video! 19th century CNE, love it! ❤️ And thirdly, you are incredibly underrated! ❤️❤️

This role-play reminds me of my great great great grandma who was alive in the 19th century not that I ever met her but from what I’ve heard and learned about from stories my great grandma tells me she was very much like this honestly you even somewhat resemble her or what I think she would’ve looked like

This is such a wonderful idea 💡. Very relaxing considering this was a time period that medical procedures were not exactly the safest, to put it lightly 😅 . This concept is a great mix, especially with headphones on. ✨✨
This is beautiful! And not to mention funny. I can see the inspiration from Moonlight! One of my favourites. I'll absolutely give you a subscribe, This is so lovely and relaxing.
