Is posting this video a good idea? None of these animals were bred or raised to live with humans. They should remain in their natural habitat and not with some dope, who thinks they’re Tarzan and can talk to the animals. It makes a whole lot more sense to adopt a dog or a cat from a shelter where you’re actually saving an animal. isn’t this how the python problem started in Florida?

Lol, little Lad has some MOVES!!
In reality though, he's trying to figure out how to ACTUALLY move. Being on a Velvet Blanket, his scales on his belly, which normally help him slither and move, have nothing to grip or push off of, so he just slides in place. He'll figure it out eventually, but he's probably thinking "What the hell, I've done this for 15 years, did I break something?"

As a vet tech that works in an exotic animal hospital I’ve treated, pet, or feed all these animals & the fennec foxes were the most entertaining!!

I’d like to ask a question, I want to adopt a sugar glider, and the area where I live I’ve heard you need a license, I don’t know if it’s true and, is it actually safe to buy pet stores or from a breeder?
@@alex._vspdefinitely from a breeder. I have a sugar glider and he’s from a breeder. Pet store animals are treated very poorly and tend to come home with u sick.

There's a pet store in my area that's pretty solid, they tend to actually take pretty good care of their animals. Places like Petco are bad, but smaller non-corporate places can be good.

Pet Skunks are usually de scented and can't spray
Actually for those ones that are pets or wildlife ambassadors they have that stink or spray gland removed so they don’t have the ability to spray

I have 4 ! They are work but so so cute I have 2 of the color in the vid they are adults and we only have one female and so only one pouch baby but we have a male great and 2 male leutstic (white)

These pets aren't just fancy decorations for you to carry around just to spam on social media and flex everywhere to boost your clout and ego with, nor are they just floofy hairballs of cuteness that'll easily warm up to you once you get them just to force your affection on them whenever you feel down. These are living, breathing, thinking animals with needs and unsuppressed wild instincts. Animals with far less domesticated behavioral development in their DNA than a simple dog or cat, and that are far higher maintenance than a dog or cat.

@@Firefreddyforever they are easy most part, just make sure you do research and keep there cage clean with fresh food water and new cat litter and DEFINITELY make sure there wheel is clean, you also need to have them out for awhile to bond.

I have seen a few that were given up to a sanctuary because the owner died of old age, or the family hit financial trouble.

Used to be legal in florida. But if you had a permit before 2 certain years (depending on the animal) you would be grandfathered in to own it with a class A pet license. That also doesn't Include zoo's

However, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, and ball pythons (Especially ball pythons) are it that exotic, many people have them.

TIP: Allthough some exotic animals can be owned like the ones in the video the problem is that some of these animals can only be bought as pets in some states or countries so dont look foward to buying one of these before looking if any of them are legal or illegal in your state or country

Depending on where you live, that is... in Idaho Falls Idaho, you are only supposed to own cats and dogs. They don't even allow parrots or lizards.

As a person looking for a fennec fox and loves animals, they're right, just because someone else is able to take care of exotic pets doesn't mean it's easy, it's easy for them since in their country/state the animals rather don't need permits/licenses, zoos, sanctuaries etc or they do have at least one of those. I have heard it's legal to own animals such as fennec foxes without a permit in Illinois and some other states, but may have to double check on fennec foxes without permits, but animals such as servals do, most people who have animals like foxes rather don't need a permit or carry a fur bearing license, so it's better to research about them before getting them so
