Have to wonder how powerful the mud pumps are. You need 15,000 PSI to work in a field at 12,000 PSI. The Deepwater Horizon was only capable of 7,500 PSI, and had kicks at 7,000 PSI.
that's not how that works.
Three-quarters of the Earth is covered in water, much of it thousands of meters deep. To develop wells in deep water, with minimal crew, is the kind of technology that is needed going forward. Transocean is building for the future, preparing for the challenges ultra-deepwater and high pressure create. I only wonder if enough Remotely Operated Vehicles will be available capable of working in these depths.
And what happens if a drill breaks that deep?

Great technology but you are destroying every shareholder for the last decade. When are you going to do something for us shareholders? Every year it's next year things will be better. It never comes!

Companies letting shareholders and maximizing profits are running em into the ground. If companies have great products, then business will be good, and shareholders will be happy along with everyone else. Greed from all points has ruined everything.
