Zoey to me is the most annnoying character in the blackish universe. The other characters are more relatable and have more depth to them. Zoey is very judgemental and insecure. She all ways feel like her way is the right way all the time. She doesn’t let others do what they really want. She is so selfish she wants to live vicariously through others. This season has been good because it’s been trying to make her character better but she still who she is. I wish the creators of grownish will focuse more on the other characters. I feel like they offer so much more. Especially since it’s a talented bunch of young up and coming actors.

Regardless, of course he is going to pick up on their culture because that's the community he's hanging around with. And everyone else seems to have accepted him! I'm white, so none of it's really my call. I would have loved to see though some conversation between the black people who accepted that Vivek did waves in his hair and then his black friends who didn't. It feels like, from the outside, different people have different opinions and levels of those feelings. Some people I can never get on board with fully. It just seems like they ignore or underplay the problems caused by white people too much. Also, sometimes you don't have the opinion of someone else or what most people have and you feel frustrated. I know I have that in my own life, but I'm not black. I don't know what it feels like.

I'm white, so none of it's really my call. I would have loved to see though some conversation between the black people who accepted that Vivek did waves in his hair and then his black friends who didn't. It feels like, from the outside, different people have different opinions and levels of those feelings. Some people I can never get on board with fully. It just seems like they ignore or underplay the problems caused by white people too much. Also, sometimes you don't have the opinion of someone else or what most people have and you feel frustrated. I know I have that in my own life, but I'm not black. I don't know what it feels like.
