I'm sooo happy whenever you use a colourful highlighter and I'm reminded that I am not the only person left who's still into colourful highlighters. Life is just too short for boring highlighters
I just got into colourful highlighter this year, right when the market became more natural 🤦🏻♀️ I actually often use coloured iridescent eyeshadows coordinating with my eye look and don't wanna look back.
@@alettaa Yessss. I still have some of my "older" favs, like the Kat Von D Alchemist Palette (pretty dang old), and the Kaleidos highlighters (not very old, but sooooooo pretty), but if I don't have anything that matches well enough, I just use my iridescent metallic-type multichromes. Iridescent multichromes are my absolute favourites, because I pretty much always want my lid lighter than my crease, and I just prefer planning whole looks around mattes, and then using an iridescent on the lid, like 90% of the time. I have kind of a lot of iridescents, because I know my preferences, now. 😅 When I buy iridescents, though, I generally buy whole bundles at once, so I'm basically never going to use up any single one, ever. So I def don't mind using them all over my face, either. 😋 Better to use them than just... not? 🤷🏻♀️
Just wanted to randomly pop in and say that I really appreciate and respect that you do your reviews this way. I roll my eyes whenever influencers do a first Impressions video and then say “I’ll let you guys know in a figure video what I thought of these products” and then the future never happens lol. I Stan a queen that has some ACTUAL follow through lol.
You should do a video of the best eyeshadow primers, and show one eye with and one eye without primer, to really show what it does! Love to see you being so exited about eyeshadow! I'm the same way, and always feel weird being so exited over something like eyeshadow, since most thinks everyone that wear makeup, only want to be prettier, but I love makeup as an art form, just like you
Watching Angie get excited over eye shadow is the best way to start the day. And you're bringing me back to high school with the Tragic Kingdom bonus track ❤️
I remember making a mixed cassette and again a CD for my boyfriend at the time and included a bonus track of love songs which I am sure he appreciated in high school? 😂 💗
I did purchase but haven’t been able to try it yet and after reviews I’m not so sure If I even should…. I find it odd it’s ranked so high in reviews on Sephora but not ONE review I have watched was a good one HMMM !!
The MILK eye primer is amazing for locking in my concealer under my eyes! I have intensely dark under eye circles (literally dark brown) so I need full coverage concealers so it can match the rest of my face in an even tone, but I have a hard time getting them to last all day. The best I've got is Tarte Shape tape (or I do a mix of Tarte Shape Tape and Pat Mcgrath concealer). When I use the MILK primer it doesn't keep the hydrated look very long, but it does make the concealers last all day, which I'm very happy about! It even increases the longevity of my other concealers I had previously stopped using because they faded so fast. As an eyeshadow primer though...um. I don't like it. It's nice in the spots where slippery/creamy type of shadow formulas crease on me but I do not enjoy using it all over for shadows.
Thanks for the tip! 🙂 I also have very dark undereyes and only Shape Tape actually helps covering them, but it also creases during the day 🥴 and I was wondering whether the MILK eye primer actually helps. Will definitely try it out now! 😊💪
@@yvonnem6089 No problem Angie and Yvonne! Another tip though (besides letting it fully dry in a thin layer about five minutes) is to tap/stipple the concealer in rather than swiping. I hope you both are able to have as much success with it as I did!
The best part was finding the bonus tracks on your vinyl then recording them to cassette and having tracks your friends who only bought the tapes didn’t have 😜 Those brushes look gorgeous! They are the spitting image of some of my old Furless brushes, an Australian brand that went out of business when it moved to the US 😞 They we’re my favourite brushes, and hearing you say how soft the Alien ones are gives me hope that maybe they’re making for other brands now, or at the least there might be a good replacement.
I was admiring your foundation and bronzer and then Glowish happened and I was "Wtf, why is her forehead grey!?" The powder seemed, at least to me, make all the foundation and bronzer turn greyish, not the look you were going for. But the eye shadow quads! Love the colours and absolutely adore the look you created with them, it's gorgeous, especially with those lashes.
I have large pores and I stayed as far away from the Glowish powder as I could. I was afraid it would just emphasize my pores. I can’t understand how something so glowy could also be blurring. The gloss together with the highlight looks sooooo pretty! ❤️❤️
Haha, I loved when you said "Giving them a chance to shine, or fail, if that's what they prefer to do." It sounded like the products are alive and they can either do well or not perform and it's up to them. So cute, haha. 🤭
I am repeating myself over here, but I still hope that you will at some point try the new stuff from glamshop, daaaamn, they are stepping up their game:) cream bronzers, multi use cream eyeshadows, illuminating foundation- Just to mention a few :)
I've been wondering how it compares to the LH cosmetics one. I personally really like that one. It helps my cream shadows stick but not crease, it's lightweight, and I can build enough colour on top if I want to, but the colour also blends into my skin super well for a blown out edge. Everyone's preferences are really different!
I love the idea of influencers sharing PR, it's a win-win, more people get to try it out for free, the product is getting more attention called to it and more views, and there's less waste. I think that was a fantastic idea Maggie 😊 I'll have to find your channel. I like the idea of using different tones in the brows to add a more realistic depth and dimension, and I think that blush is the Perfect blush for you, it looks natural, but enhancing, and just So Pretty! I found my first bonus track on Nine Inch Nail's Broken cd, and then on a Tool one. It was such a cool experience that younger kids won't get to have.
I wouldn't suggest anyone go out and specifically buy the Milk primer, just to try it out. Almost everyone has a siliconey face primer sitting around somewhere. Just put some of that on the lid (a really tiny amount, you don't need a lot), and see if you like it, first. If you do, and you still want to get the Milk eye primer, absolutely, please! I just don't think you have to waste your money to just try that effect out. If you're going to use a silicone primer all over your undereyes and lids, I'd suggest putting concealer over it, however. It absolutely does help concealer blend, and look less "dry," if that's a problem you encounter (it is a moisturising ingredient, but that slip can also help dilute the pigment a tiny bit, so it doesn't look so dry and cakey). And the concealer will help the silicone kind of dry down, rather than remaining really slippery. If you just want to see how a siliconey primer works on your lids, though, you probably already have something fairly similar. Almost all primers from like the past 10 years were silicone-based, whereas maybe a handful weren't. If the first few ingredients are water and -cone -ane, etc, then they're silicone-based. 👍🏻👍🏻
I had a hard time with the milk makeup eye primer as well. My shadows didnt blend well and like you said it doesnt bring out all tje pigment. It does however make the shadows stick to the lid like nothing ive ever seen. I had to use a cleansing balm to get it off because normal cleanser wouldn't get it off. The primer can also be used as an under eye primer for concealer and I think it works much better for that. Especially with the gripping power it has. You should you try it under the eye as a concealer primer instead. Its recommended to work for that on the package just make sure you give it time to dry.
For brow powders, Kiko Milano do an under €10 powder compact. Similar to Benefits, comes in 2 shade ranges. I use it with the Nyx brow pen and together, my brows look great 🥰
I'm excited to hear your take on the Milk eye primer? I've been questioning whether it's worth it to try. And I think you are my fave before this video, but talking about No Doubt and bonus tracks, you solidified your place in my heart.🌻💙
hi angie! I'm dry and really fair too, like your friend, but I tend to like foundations that look natural (not matte or dewy) and that won't dry my skin or feel heavy or sticky. it's been a struggle to find my perfect foundation, but I did (smith and cult veiled threat), however I'm still on the hunt for an awesome concealer
Good morning! 💛 I'm impatient.... I do not want to wait for a primer to dry down! That eyelook is stunning! I love it 💞 You might do the exact same eyelook with a different primer to know for sure about the gripping primer.
I think I may be the only person liking the HUDA powder. I have dry, more mature skin with very little texture, so it just gives me a soft blurred glow. Basically a powder that will only work for about 1 out of 10 people 🙃
Thank you so much for this video, Angie! Thank you for helping us avoid potential fails ;) Can't wait to hear your thoughts on all of this new makeup ;)
I’ve said it a billion times but I love your GRWMs!!!!! My absolute favorite 💚💚💚 also, I love the way your brows look… the wand on Huda’s brow product is just like my favorite brow product from Em Cosmetics, I love how little and precise it is. Now I need to try Huda’s !!! Huda’s face products do run very dark - not good for this pale gal.
OMG I must of been channeling 😳 Angie because 3 times I said the exact same thing and we even laughed at the same way. 🤣 I absolutely love the highlighter colour on you. That Lavender was my favorite on you. The trick I use for the primer you used, is to set it with w tiny bit of setting powder. I am testing the Morphe one and it is the same way and you would think in translucent that it would make the eyes pop.
I'm sure this may have been suggested already, but maybe the eyeshadow primer could be used more as a base for shimmers, sort of like a glitter primer, instead of for mattes? Feel like the applicator and consistency would work well for that!
Staying the HECK away from that glowy powder because my skin is textured enough Really trying to talk myself out of those quads though because wow!! I finally bought the nyx eyebrow pen and it is great! I found the Becca skin tint and my skin hated it :( I looked extra extra oily
That foundation has me intrigued - I’m so picky about my foundations and I *still* after like 6 years after getting into makeup haven’t found my holy grail, take to the grave formula. Wanted to comment just to say how much I LOVE this eye look - it’s giving very glam watermelon vibes 🍉 😂❤️
The thing I will say about the Huda/GloWish powder is that the campaign photos (which appear to be "untouched") show quite obvious pores even though the claim is that it is "smoothing and blurring". I feel like the marketing is both honest and not.
Not one of the new stuff mentioned, but I've had the Nabla close-up liner in #3 in my cart for a couple of days now - love those liners, too - not scratchy, not too creamy - a perfectly happy medium. I'm considering getting the Skin Realist - I do hope that the shade Fair doesn't pull pink. 🤞
That milk primer is supposed to be for undereye concealer as well as shadow. I’d love your opinion on that aspect of it, if you get a chance to use it again.
So excited 😍😍 Edit: I think that what you do on your brows is amazing 🤩🤩 I used to have a thin brows and I used to do a lot of things to my brows. I just got lazy so what I do these days is I color my brows, then I make them fluffy with Colourpop brow soap and set it with 2 different color brow gels 😬😬
i want to try the milk primer sooo bad... i need a primer that makes my eyeshadow last all day :) the only primer that does this for me is the urban decay one.. I tried ND, rare beauty, ABH... the list goes on and on 😅
Id love to see you try the kosas powder because I'm looking for a pressed powder that's glowy but will set my foundations/tinted moisturisers.. I also have combo skin so I want something that isn't going to look insane by the end of the day. My only powder rn is the nabla loose powder and I like it but I need a pressed powder for touch ups or lighter makeup days/travel. The nabla powder is too matte and I always have to use a dewy spray with it so it's not great for touch ups..
I looooooove those quads specially the two Aries n Scorpio one, they e beautiful. Totally not into horoscopes either but the convenience of having those shades in a quad… is superb 🤩
i’m truly loving this GRWM!!! i remember the bonus track from the no doubt album as well. such a great album! i was obsessed with gwen back then. i kinda think you should’ve gone with the glamlite eye primer. i still want some of the astrology quads and i’m bummed that the alien cosmetics brushes won’t be back on their site until november. i loveeee your purple highlight. 💜
Gm Angelica, This foundation and concealer looks absolutely amazing on you👍😘 I was hoping that you would have used both eye primers on each eye so we can see the difference.. I'm trying to understand.. Did the saying on the MILK PRIMER STATE.. THST IT WAS TO MAKE THE EYESHADOW POP OR JUST GRIP? ..
Angie have you tried the Kosas Air Brow? I got it recently and really like it, for me it does exactly what you say, it gives colour, it fluffs up the brows and it sets down a bit and holds really well. They also have a great shade range (I'm a redhead so that's important to me) - it might work well for you :)
I've been curious about that Milk Makeup eye primer. Thanks for testing it out! :) I'm watching you while I'm doing all the Hallows End events in WoW. Still no Headless Horsman mount for me, but THIS is the year!! LOL, anyway hope you are doing well!!
oooh I didn't know that supershock formula highlighters came in packaging like that I love purple & pink highlighter I wish they would restock ♋ it's my sign and it's one of two sold out (it's been sold out for weeks) RIP "if you don't like eyeshadow this is the primer for you" is such a sick burn I'm sorry I'm laughing
Angie, did you try the Huda powder with a sponge? I prefer it a lot more with the sponge, the brush application brings out a lot of texture I didn't even know I had! You're beautiful, as usual 😍
Have you tried the luminous powder from YSL? I love it. It's in the pink packaging and I'll look at the name when I get home or I'll look at sephora but that powder is beautiful
I have the virgo quad and it's beautiful. I've been thinking about getting some others. But really ordering from colourpop directly is so painful. Their shipping..ugh.
Does your friend Maggie have a channel? Would love to watch another influencer you recommend .. this color looks awesome on you! You always have the best looks !
I'm sooo happy whenever you use a colourful highlighter and I'm reminded that I am not the only person left who's still into colourful highlighters. Life is just too short for boring highlighters
Yasss I already have a natural glow, please give me a supernatural shine and don't tell me it's no longer "in" to be trying to send signals to space!
I still think they are a lot of fun :D

I haven’t seen a single person like that milk eye primer. No one. Which is very interesting consider the huge popularity of the milk hydro-grip

I looooooove those quads specially the two Aries n Scorpio one, they e beautiful. Totally not into horoscopes either but the convenience of having those shades in a quad… is superb 🤩
Your looks are always beautiful! The Fenty bronzer is one of my favorites; I have the Coco Naughty color which is wonderful! 😍
I love the eye look, it's very pretty and so fun!💖💙
I tried the darkest NYX shade and it was so faint. Maybe its dried up? Those quads 😯 though!
Your reactions to eyeshadows are the most pure happiness in a bottle lol
Absolutely love this make up look!
The eye-cing makes my eyeshadow crease like crazy
Totally loveeeee your GRWM's!!!! :)
I get excited when you try eye primers. It's the one thing we have identical taste in.
Love this look! Thanks for the GRWM. 💜💛💚💙
I’ve heard that a lot ab the Huda powder. Do you use the Becca Light Shifter pressed powder?
Always love 💕 your personality
The best
i’m truly loving this GRWM!!! i remember the bonus track from the no doubt album as well. such a great album! i was obsessed with gwen back then. i kinda think you should’ve gone with the glamlite eye primer. i still want some of the astrology quads and i’m bummed that the alien cosmetics brushes won’t be back on their site until november. i loveeee your purple highlight. 💜
One of my fav time is when I'm watching ur video and enjoying my coffee😍😍😍
For the NYX banana powder...is still available in NYX Spain....just saying. I bought 2 backups just in case
Gm Angelica, This foundation and concealer looks absolutely amazing on you👍😘
I was hoping that you would have used both eye primers on each eye so we can see the difference..
I'll check it out!
I've been curious about that Milk Makeup eye primer. Thanks for testing it out! :) I'm watching you while I'm doing all the Hallows End events in WoW. Still no Headless Horsman mount for me, but THIS is the year!! LOL, anyway hope you are doing well!!
Best of luck! :D
oooh I didn't know that supershock formula highlighters came in packaging like that
I love purple & pink highlighter
I wish they would restock ♋
it's my sign and it's one of two sold out (it's been sold out for weeks) RIP
"if you don't like eyeshadow this is the primer for you" is such a sick burn I'm sorry I'm laughing
Angie, did you try the Huda powder with a sponge? I prefer it a lot more with the sponge, the brush application brings out a lot of texture I didn't even know I had! You're beautiful, as usual 😍
I'll do that next time, thanks for the tip!
Girl that Huda powder is way too glowy. I was wondering what you would think lol
Have you tried the luminous powder from YSL? I love it. It's in the pink packaging and I'll look at the name when I get home or I'll look at sephora but that powder is beautiful
hmm no I havnt, I'll have to see if I can swatch it in store :)
@@AngelicaNyqvist I just looked. It's called the all over glow powder and it's beautiful ❤️. Hope you get a chance to swatch it
I have the virgo quad and it's beautiful. I've been thinking about getting some others. But really ordering from colourpop directly is so painful. Their shipping..ugh.
You always do such amazing looks Angie!! 😍😍
Hey Angie!! Love your channel!!
Does your friend Maggie have a channel? Would love to watch another influencer you recommend .. this color looks awesome on you! You always have the best looks !
Yes just search for Margareta Grääs, her channel is in Swedish though :)
Yeah the concealer looks perfect on you.
Hi Ang'! 🧡
Edit: Maybe please use the milk primer under concealer? See if and how it helps.
