feels like on a map like this the Mali civ has the biggest advantage late game because of the pit mine and mansa quarry providing steady gold while opponent doesn’t have reliable gold source
I feel like this is the ultimate anti-turtle map. Can't wall on water so have to watch out for a naval flank and can't play a 20hr game because of limited wood on the map.

Unironically this match was incredibly fun to watch. Insane back-and-forth. Had no idea who was going to win
Whether the map is overall good, I dunno. I guess we'll see
Socrota is a meme map, the AoE2 version also has rocks around them to prevent docking. But its not used in serious tournaments, because basically a rush-only map and heavy on douching (deleting your own TC and rebuilding it in range of your opponents to heavily pressure them).
I honestly I don't know why they included it in RBW. If its true that it was included because the admin recognized it from AoE2 (but has very little knowledge of AoE4), I guess that shows how important AoE4 is to the tournament organizers....

I'm leaning towards loving it, simply because the games are so fun to watch. I personally really enjoy it in customs and it mixes up the meta.

Filipino here. Yeah I can say that Sting is in fact too sweet for my taste. We also have another local energy drink (Cobra). I think that packs more punch than Sting for some reason in terms of energy.
But while staying there, I would actually suggest trying out the canned foods that we have!

He can't, as he is currently travelling; hence why the audio is worse. I still think it is decent enough.
honestly i dont hate the look of this map the resources seem tight an like raids are gonna be common an constant I could see interesting games here but I could also see onesided landslides also water is little pointless but could result in some fun plays with dropping around walls to raid more effectively for example

I think the fact that AOE4 does not have a voice/representative in decision making of Microsoft/world's edge/ redbull is worrying.
I don't really hate that it has no fish. water eco is a bit of a mess in aoe4 right now anyway. maybe if it just had shoreline and not deep water.

The lad has stated multiple times he’s away from home and visiting his wife’s family with their child. How about you just suck it up for a little bit and support him as a creator. The man is allowed a life away from RUclips and AOE

This map is just as boring as FFA
From what I can tell this is a great AOE 4 map: dynamic, interesting and open to creative expression. On top of that it would be more entertaining for AOE 2 players to watch who still constitute a majority of the AOE fandom. As a well known AOE 2 map it will be especially useful in showcasing the unique gameplay aspects of AOE 4 to the goal of increasing the player base.
Hi Drongo, the people criticising the sound/ audio should be donating $$ to you to buy you a better travel casting system. 😂 I understand your OS, and this is temporary so its not a drama IMO. Thanks for casting, your the best.
