They are snowskates. They are different in the way they have grooves on the bottom, to help you stay in control. I assume they also have special grip, which works better in wet conditions.

@@mini_moeller9032 Gotcha , looks like the tails dip alot more too. May just be camera angle. Doesnt snow where I live so never seen these.
