These videos are so satisfying to watch - well, watch and listen as I am diamond painting while I have these on. Once I receive all my supplies and my stickers, etc., from you to begin this project, I will probably do each item in a group. For example, I will cut up all my cards for each picture box, then put all the DMC labels on each card, then put all the DMC labels on each bag for squares and then rounds, etc., etc. I will probably try to get as much of each step done in one part because I’d have to put everything away again before I could work on it again due to the fact I babysit my grandkids so I can’t leave things out. But we’ll see how it goes. Can’t wait to start!!!
Sounds a good plan. I like grouping things together when I can, but when a massive project like this, also doing it in sections. So part 1, part 2, part 3 etc for a selection. Then repeating, part 1 again, part 2 again and so on. I work better in bulk, but I also like to see progress.
Rebecca your storage is fab and I’m loving watching you making it pretty. I finished my spare storage tonight, I didn’t think I had many spares but I surprised how many I did have, I’ve still got lots of empty baggies but I’m sure I’ll fill them over time. Thank you for all your tips, tricks and fun you put into your videos everyday x💎x
I spent yesterday between putting labels on my divider cards and the labels on my baggies... I am doing it while I am watching tv shows or RUclips!!! Will say for those who are thinking of ordering the stickers get the pre-cut stickers... the cutting of the labels for the divider cards is finicky and time consuming!!! Love the stickers even with the finicky part!!!!
Thank you. Received my shipment from your store today with the stickers for the bags, the dividers and the canvases. All products in excellent conditon. I will be making my spare diamonds look pretty in several stages.
I'm waiting for my baggies to re-organise I have it all set up like yours but have now got the dmc sickers and just waiting for the thick baggies so I can transfer over - I think it will be much easier without the card and I'm going to set every number up on a baggie ready for the de-kitting. It will make it so much quicker!
When I have a bag with static, I actually breathe into the bag until it fogs slightly. The steam from your breath will help those pesty static drills to settle down and cooperate.
I've been reorganising my storage by doing a row a day. I've only got 2 more rows to do. It's all been made easier when using your labels and stickers so thank you for sharing them with us in your shop.
I can hardly wait to get my DMC numbers. I'm still trying to decide which color I want for my index stickers. My original ones are pretty but I adore the new colors!! Thanks for all you two are doing! Stay Safe and Blessed❣️🤗👍💐
I love to see you prepared your pretty storage boxes I hope u do a storage photo box storage video for your giveaway storage drills I’m lovin this videos u making me so Eager
I'm using the cloth 3 drawer system (Flarra) from Ikea instead of the photo boxes and can just pull a drawer out at a time. I haven't set the full system in place yet but am doing a bit at a time and waiting for stuff to arrive to complete it. I've downloaded your sticker file and just got the sticker sheets to be able to print them out. I was using normal photocopy paper in the bags but am looking for 100/125gsm paper for the inserts and am also waiting for a decent cutter to be able to cut the heavier cardstock for the dividers etc. As I haven't done a round painting in 12 months I basically only have squares in my system. The funny thing is I had never had to worry about gsm or cardstock or thin or thick bags before I started this system so was woefully ignorant on how to get it functional so have an order coming in for the thinner bags and will just have to put up with using them and the inserts for quite a while before transferring over to thicker bags. Thanks for your creativity and willingness to share ideas to get us started on more efficient ways to be happy in our craft.
Mine is all done and I love it so much!! I do put the square in front of the round just because I do more square than round so I decided square goes first! Also, I have the same size and thickness bags as yours but I do still keep the insert in because sometimes the bag still falls underneath the cards if I don't. And, I also mark the insert card with the DMC # because a couple of my stickers were almost coming off the bag if I bumped it wrong and I wanted to make sure that if a sticker ever came off the bag that I would still know what color it is without having to get the DMC card out and look it up. Probably overkill but I like the security. Thanks again for sharing your system, I don't think I would have come up with it on my own haha!
Little by little I've been putting your labels into my storage box. I'm pretty much done, but I ran out of card stock paper. Need to take a break from it so I can work on my Chuck Pinson.
Curious still. Have you tried putting a whole sheet of antistatic dryer sheets underneath your wonderful spares? I think it would help if the boxes and storage bags were treated with a whole dryer sheet. This should remove static. Have fun 🤩! Sorry to see the third box gone. Efficiency is Best!
Hi! I am loving these videos! It’s making me want to reorganise my storage too! Just out of curiosity (and you may have mentioned it in a previous video), what are the dimensions of the box you use? I know you mention that it’s a photo box, but just wondering on the size, as I have tried searching for photo boxes, but am having no luck, yet if I knew the dimensions, i think the search might be easier. Thanks!
I'm working on it slowly, as I dekit or as the mood takes me, which it does when I see you doing it. I'm working from the back forward, so I am almost done the 3000s. My goals are somewhat different from yours, as I'm trying to make this my one stop shop for all diamonds in DMC. I'm currently considering making and printing labels for each DMC color in AB as well, especially since I just found a resource for converting DAC's AB numbers into DMC equivalents, which is where the lion's share of my ABs have come from, although I have started ordering them as well. Basically I want to, if I need to know what I have for a specific DMC number, I have exactly one place to look. I am also working on a HAED that is sourced at least partially from my spares, so I have simple colored paper clips on the cards for the DMCs I am using, so if someone from the got diamonds group is looking for a DMC, I can check my box and instantly know if I have any and if I can give any away. At this point I am not limiting my spares, but I'm not as far along in my diamond painting journey as you are, so we'll see what time brings.
Getting ready to make storage box. Looked all over area we live in, near Dallas, TX. THICKEST SIZE I FOUND WAS 6mm!! No 7mm. Bags already on way. Will this make difference in bags standing up tall and straight???
Actually a question! You speak of "DMC" diamonds with same numbers but totally different colors and different symbols or letters. I don't understand. I love this new hobby and watch almost every day while I'm doing the canvases. Help!😍
DMC is a colour code used for embroidery threads. Most diamond paintings use these too; however the shading can sometimes be a bit ‘off’ so we don’t tend to mix them between pictures. Also the symbols used don’t stay with the same DMC number. They too vary between paintings.
I’ve started my organising But while I wait from my order of stickers from u that I ordered on the 13 th of February 2021 I have started cutting the foam boards for the slots but I’m also cutting red shiny card For my Dmc coloured labels so when the order comes I can do the stickers for it I have 2 big photo boxes one for my diamond art club drills and one for my spare diamond drills from friendly diamond painting websites and some small photo boxes one for my Rhinestone drills and then another box for my special shape drills and then another small box for giveaway drills but I hope my order comes soon as I’m eager to do my storage Ps where did Diana get those lovely strong baggies what website I think that be a good idea to put the site on your shop and on your description ox bellow For your videos for new and old diamond paintings goers . Love from Kate last love ya 💜💙♥️💛🧡💚❤️
And the weeks go very fast when you are enjoying what you are doing.😀🌻🌻💛🌟
Decided to do a revamp including a few of your suggestions. Thank you.☕️😄🌻😀💛🌟
Wonderful!

Your storage box is getting to be very compact, and looking great.

The 6mm should do fine, mine was a little between the two anyway. When I originally did this box, I used a cardboard box. LOL
Sorry to be so bothersome! Little bit OCD (no, a lot)!! Want it perfect 🤩
@@elizabethhaddon4169 don’t worry. Ask away. 💕
If i may what name cards you put between of diamond divder them ?
Can I ask, where are the thicker baggies from? Do you have a link? Thanks
Yes, I have a link in my favourites: 4kidsat147.com/favourites/sparestorage

Do you use square diamonds only or can you use round on the HAED's?
You can use round; however, you might see some of the white canvas peeping through.
Hey Rebecca what was your most fav diamond painting that you’ve ever done
ooo, that's a hard one. Probably my blossom tree, as it's in my front room and it was quite an achievement being so big.
I'm doing 2 sets... 1 for all DAC diamonds and the other set is for all NON-DAC diamonds.... so I have 4 boxes all together
I’m doing that as well
Linda Breeding I keep my spare DAC diamonds separate as well
❤
Can I get the black labels please
They're available in my shop. addmorezest.com/shop
