I think the cd player under the seat is ussually to upgrade ur maps on the stock navigation, but from the looks of it either the radio is not stock or didn't come with navigation in the first place so not sure
The previous owner put a after market radio in the car. So I’m not sure what radio actually came with this car.

For the seatbelts, you could send all of them out and have the color of the belts changed too. 😲
To remove the window tint, wet it down with soapy water, then cover (from inside of car) with black plastic bag. Once in the sun awhile, the adhesive will loosen for easy peeling.
I had thought about that. But it cost almost $100 per seat belt. I would rather not spend the money on this car until I know I can get everything else fixed first!
And I will definitely try that for the window tint!

Those holes are threaded and those legs get attached to them with black bolts.
I think the lower back seat is supposed to fold up against the front seat and then the backrest folds down to make more storage space
I just need to get some bolts now to actually bolt the seat down. Because I didn’t find any cleaning the car.
But this car has many little quirks to learn about!
The hook is to hold the lid up, you hook it up where the tailgate seal is (tailgate jam)
That’s interesting, I had no idea what it was for. But now it makes sense!
A good steam cleaner will help you get all that nasty gunk out of the cup holders and tight spaces. I'm sure you know that, but I wouldn't get the handheld one. Its takes too much time to use and its only for people who's on budget.
I have been thinking about getting one, I know it will also help with the old window tint as well. Might need to buy one soon!

I believe this is on stock suspension. That’s how I atleast bought it. They were 17 inch rims I believe. Don’t remember the exact tire size.
U mentioned 2 accidents ..probably front end collision this has the face lift front bumper 05-08, looks like your missing the xr/xrs side skirts and rear valances on back bumper.
Hook on the cargo floor hooks to top of the hatch to hold it.
Yeah it had a front impact on the passenger side, this car had to had almost every trim part removed. I have been in search for an XR for all the body panels, but can’t find any at a decent price!
That’s the oem cd changer.
That what I thought. Because I know that some of the matrix models come with a 6 CD changer.

I have been doing some research, and I have read that some matrix XRS came with a 6 CD changer. I’m not sure if that is it our not. I would need to try and find the options my matrix came with.
check the valve cover gasket.

where is the bcm on a 2005 matrix xr
I’m not exactly sure, I know the ECU is in the engine bay. The BCM might be in the under the center console where the shifter is.
You should buy that electric paint gun and paint it DIY its alot cheaper this way cuz the is not worth it to paint it professionally
I plan on repainting it myself. It would cost to much to have other people paint it!

It’s been doing great! Just need to get a new clutch because it can’t hold the power and is slipping!

Just the engine alone cost as much as I paid for the matrix! But just going to take some of my own time to get this to be perfect!
