Marcus Johnson Live in Baltimore at Keystone Corner (Baltimore) This Place Hotel Cover. Killer Solos

This is a live concert featuring @Chris Biscut Bynum on drums, @Chooky Caldwell on bass, @eddie Baccus Jr on sax, and Dave Manley on guitar.
Coming out of quarantine and getting back into the mix, we bring our interpretation of the ‪@thejacksonslegacy‬ hit, This Place Hotel to the stage!
From the intro, through the solos, to the ending, the group is engaged and locked in with one another. After the second statement of the verse, Marcus enlists the support of the sold-out crowd to sing the Chorus, "This is heartbreak hotel! Welcome to Heartbeak Hotel!"
Then We Solo!!!:
4:04: After the bridge, you'll see me jump into my solo, building it the way I learned how in the University of Miami and Howard University Jazz studies programs. For me, it's all about having fun and I hope you see it in my face and closed eyes!
5:47: Eddie Baccus Jr takes it from there, we break it down and bring it right back!
7:32: Chris "Biscut" Bynum finishes off the song with a thumping drum solo. You'll notice how from time to time our connection allows us to altere the planned direction. It's about entertainment, yes! For us it's about having fun and #FLOn
My group, in this configuration, has been together for about 4 years now. We played around the country to continue to release music. My version of "This Place Hotel was originally released on the CD poetically justified, which received an n-double-acp image award nomination. That record features other artists such as @najee, @maysa, @Marcus Anderson, Miles Jaye, David Dyson, and many others!
