The problem with such teen movies is that they are so unrealistic. The only teen movie i could relate to was mean girls, it did target main teen issues that we face. As soon as I saw the skirt she put on I knew this movie was going downhill. I mean, who wears something like that? And the Hollywood sign scene was the most hilarious, how did they even get up there? Again, unrealistic

I'm glad other people see this. She's idolizing this relationship with a guy who makes excuses about his violence and thinks saying sorry is going to fix everything. Why she ever agreed to a date after that is beyond me. But he was way too possessive and violent. Her best friend was also pretty possessive and shouldn't be able to tell her who she can or can't date. But honestly, the entire time, I wanted her and Lee to get together. They had a great dynamic for the most part, and they actually have things in common. They'd have a far more stable relationship. ExpertSavage but a team of people at Netflix approved it, wrote the script, and made the film. I’m not mad about it existing. But this is just not how teenagers talk to each other. I watched it with my 15 year old cousin and her friend and they both agree with me in that it’s problematic and unrealistic.

Well at leats at the end it was just a adolecent relationship, i mean, She didnt marry him or anything; they tecnically didnt end up together And it shows a Friendship relationship that don't end in love or something. It's not perfect, it just a cheesy teen romantic movie.

KittyKatieKins just to clear up the uniform confusion, some school only require you to wear one or two certain pieces of the uniform, while the rest can be your own, or they have different uniform combinations, giving people somewhat flexibility with their uniform.
A lot of uniform schools have a uniform skirt or pants ... sometimes shorts and you can choose which one you want to wear
