After a full month of work, my Wattson animation is finally finished. And I decided to tackle another genre outside of comedy, that being action. It's all still new to me, so feel free to leave thoughts or criticisms, and if my action set pieces were any good. In case you're wondering, why didn't Wattson call BT to help her like she did in Derpex Legends? That was purely for comedic purposes, and I also don't want her to be entirely reliant on BT to solve all her problems. I want her to fight her own battles by herself.

Ronin would have killed Wattson easily and she doesn't have a double jump so the first arcwave would have easily gotten her so basically this whole vid makes no sense in terms of how she won
My oh my, I loved every second of it. Quite an interesting idea and greatly executed. I can say I’ve seen A LOT of improvement over the past few years. I just keep looking more forward to each animation you make. Keep it up

Idk if anyone here plays apex but I Shirley do this was a good video and I run the spitfire whenever I get the chance this video has reminded me of me in the past of apex spraying and praying as wraith it puts a smile on my face

Really good! Your models, movements, transitions, and storytelling were all great as always. I think this video just needs more polish. Specifically your timing. In your comedy videos, everything happens super fast, and that's part of why it's so funny. You're being hit with so much chaos and funny shinanigans so fast that you don't have time to recover from laughing at the last joke before another one is coming at you. With action, you actually want to use a similar pace. Action is fast paced. Take a look at the Overwatch animated shorts. Especially the DVA one. Pay attention to the pace of the video. In this video it felt like there were too many shots held on surprised facial expressions and model poses. Long pauses and multiple moments of just nothing happening. That worked well in the beginning of the video, when she was cautions and careful, but in the heat of the moment, you have to act fast. That robot would be able to made decisions instantly, so Wattson would have to be scrambling to keep away from the titan's attacks. The titan in this video felt very clunky, giving Wattson plenty of time to brace herself and prepare to dodge or defend. It felt like she was fighting a windows PC from 1995. An example would be when wattson shoots her laser gun at the titan. The titan holds up his sword, but there's a long pause between when he's holding the sword and when the laser actually hits the sword. It takes away from the "epicness" of fast paced action. When I first watched, I had enough time to think to myself "oh he's going to block it isn't he. Wait, where's the laser?" and then it hit the sword. I also think your character models eyes are very bugg-eyed. Not sure if that's just a SFM thing or your own style. It doesn't really bother me, but I just wanted to point that out. But hey, I'm not an animator, so you probably know more than me. I enjoyed this very much and will eagerly wait to consume more of your art. just offering my take and I hope that helps.

I make the characters' eyes wider than usual as a way of adding expression. Although I had a hard time with Wattson's model in particular because she (Among a few other Apex characters, not all of them) has more bones on her eyelids than she should, and I struggle to keep track of them all. As a player of Titanfall 2 and one of my favorite pilots of Ronin Titan, I really don't know what I just saw. I don't understand why Ronin suddenly flew up, and I don't understand how Apex got such high mobility to dodge the big sword.☠☠☠☠

And there's a character whose father is Viper, a boss in Titanfall 2. Viper's Titan is the most advanced Titan of its type, with a speed that rivals that of a starship, and can even be precisely controlled at high speeds. She picked up her father's Titan and instead of driving it to participate in APEX, she dismantled this top Titan and made it into a junk flying device.😡😡😡

And legends are lesser beings than pilot, fighting in a “game”. It just doesn’t make sense and it’s funny to see, especially when the fight is against ronin.

It's also funny how u tried but failed to convince others how logical this joke of a video this is, when it's just dumb in general. Of all the titans, they chose.....ronin, who is a known pilot hunter in the Titanfall franchise. Hate it all you want but we all know what ronin will pull out when someone gets too close. And boy, he will get close. It has a stryder chassis, which in short meant that it's light. Quite nimble and fast, yet lacking in armor. Still, that honestly meant that it'll catch up with Wattson no diff, hell, this was an entirely flat terrain, with no cover or whatsoever. In reality, this isn't even a fight, it's a death sentence.
