2016年に一番聴いたアルバム”Skylarking”より。
プロデューサーのトッド・ラングレンの趣味もあると思いますが、fab4、BB5、Kinks等々の影響が感じられて大好きなアルバムです！
今回初めてリアンプを試してみました(ギターソロ)
Rチャンネルのギターの歪みが多すぎたのでこっちもリアンプでやれば良かったかなと思います…

You deserve so much credit for doing this. Why? I feel the worst mistake XTC ever made was not producing tabs for their songs. For someone like yourself to decode bass lines of XTC songs and put them on RUclips for others to learn is an incredible XTC fan base tribute. I have had a very frustrating time of decoding guitar tracks to songs of XTC. Their brilliance was/is also a bit of their self inflected gun shot wound to their popularity. This band is as great as the Beatles. But it was like XTC didn't want their fans to share their songs by playing them. I am a number one fan based supporter of XTC and am presently petitioning the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to recognize this band. But I have always felt...that in any guitar shop (places to buy musical instruments), you could have pick up a XTC music tab book as easy as picking one up from: The Beatles or Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin or Jimi Hendrix or The Eagles or Deep Purple or The Rolling Stones or any other band in the world. Ok I ramble...bottom line...thanks for sharing. You really deserve a fair amount of credit for sharing your talent.

I agree it is sad for us, the fans who are musicians, that XTC doesn't publish tab or sheet music, but honestly: how many artists are also in the business of teaching musicians how to play their own music? I'm proud of the work done here, and work done by fellow XTC-loving musicians. We should help each other. I do. I submit my attempts to figure out XTC guitar parts to chalkhills.org, and have done a number of times over the past 25 years. Please share your work there, too, if you have a contribution to make. It's up to us!
