Thanks for another great update. Water is rising quickly now. I remember helping move stuff out of the house on the Kings Billabong back in the 74 flood.
Cheers Y.Y., amazing how quickly it's rising. Was only yesterday the courts were dry, apart from rain water. What's the word one how much farther it will rise? Not sure the banjo plinking helped much.:)
Beautiful reflection of the gums in the river, mirror image is so pretty, just sad it is slowly taking shacks and homes, stay happy, keep shining! Life goes on 👏😎✝️💖🕊️
Hey mate, the majority of the town centre will be fine but low-lying properties and businesses are hoping for a low peak and strong levees. Surrounding low-lying areas have been advised to evacuate. We really just have to wait and see where and when it ends up peaking. Cheers mate :)
Gidday Y.Y. The waters appear to be rising quicker than previously. The huge Hume Dam water release has not reduced any of the water held within, as the rains occurring in the eastern part of the State are of a volume that matches the water being released. Seems to me the SES person's indication that the river was still to rise 1.6 metres, back around a fortnight ago may have now been surpassed. So the rising continues for who knows when it will peak.
Kill the music, it was horrible plus I couldn't hear what you were saying!! Otherwise thank you for keeping us up to date. It will also be interesting to watch when the floods finally start to diminish - to see what was once under water coming to light again.

Thank you so much for your time and effort in recording this flood. We live in Nichols Point and experiencing it. Please keep up this coverage.
Cheers for the updates, really enjoying the coverage. It's basic but good as not everyone can get a chance to see what's happening. Great effort.
Great job! I love that you had some before pictures too!
Thanks mate!
Appreciate the updates. keep safe.

Thanks for the update, is there a lot of high ground in Mildura or is it a chance to flood the whole town

I was at the caravan park just before the floods (September) would be good to see how far it’s gone up
We were on the waterfront sites
Hey mate, Which caravan park did you stay at? :)
