This is probably the best ROG Helios build I’ve ever seen with every single detail shown . Wow 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Edit : I’m also going to be building an ROG Helios in the near future and it’s also gonna be my first pc build !

Extremely nice "Show-piece" PC. And really well thought-out in terms of loop-layout. I was especially impressed with the base-plate and passthroughs; would be a gem for if you need to do maintenance, since everything drains straight down. Superb design-choice.😍🎮

It's actually bad to add thermal paste if there's already some on the AIO, because if it's too much thermal paste you're running a real risk of damaging multiple components (motherboard being one of them) and the paste itself can become ineffective if too much is applied and some of its spills onto the motherboard & nearby sockets.

There’s not enough ARGB headers on my motherboard so I had to use the hub.. But if youre not planning to use so many RGB lighting then you wont need it

It should be in the small box with the vertical gpu bracket, ssd plates.. there’s like 40 of them in a plastic bag.. also, your motherboard should come with them too
nice build. not hating but just wondering why didnt you go for the ryujin 2 instead of the kracken. it looks like you spent top dollar? why not go for more asus rog when able.
I chose the Kraken because it had better reviews than the Ryujin 2. I also didn’t like the blocky shape of the screen/pump of the Ryujin 2. I also preferred the simple hardware monitor screen on the Kraken.

all computers are basically exactly the same now, just on different tiers of performance i'm surprised the tech industry had not standardized PC sales by 2012
@@georgecurry1 PC hardware manufacturing and product distribution is now standardized, but not PC sales: so PC sales is still done by overcharging 300-400% for pre-built PC"s, which forces price conscious customers to build their own PC's for no reason in other words, PC customers are all buying the same hardware but are being charged +300% for ordering pre-builts, because each company is forced to put together the system from parts they have ordered from the manufacturer, instead of the manufacturer sending them pre-built systems like on the console market, which helps to keep prices down under normal market conditions (i.e. no covid)
@@CR055FIRE im not sure what world you live in but most Prebuilts from gaming companies do not have that markup on them, micro center only has this kind of mark up cause its a service they are selling and only goes this high when doing custom water cooling
@@prime1964 after a few min of use, it gives me a fatal hardware error, component: Memory. Could be a faulty Ram stick. But I have seen online that a lot of people have the same issue. Some suggest it is not compatible. This Ram is not listed in the QVL and it could be an issue. But since you have not encountered the problem then I guess I will have to keep investigating.

Probably too late to respond to your ram question @killian but from experience I went with the Corsair ram not realising that the G.Skill is Aura Sync but the Corsair is not.... Therefore you'll end up using corsair's crappy RGB software.... I'm switching to G.Skill for my upgrade... Ram wise I've had no issues with my 32gb of Vengeance Pro RGB but I want everything to play nice.... My build is nearly identical to this.... Helios Case 5900x 64gb G.Skill 3600... (Not the neo.... Don't like the extra silver) 850THOR instead of the 1200 Sticking with my X570 STRIX F MB for now.... If I bother with an upgrade I'll probably end up with the FORMULA over the DARK HERO (in case I go custom WC) Love the Lian Li fans... But I will stick with my Deep Cool for now And I went with the Ryujin ll 240 AIO cause I had a smaller Corsair case for the last couple years before my HELIOS arrived.. MY storage is all different... I went 2x Crucial 2tb NVME M.2's and 3x Crucial 2tb 2.5 SSD's I do love the STRIMMERS ... but I'm not sure.... I was going with some custom length CABLEMOD 24 pin and triple 8pin... In a custom red and black pattern.... But we'll see once it's rebuilt with the standard sleeved Cables from the THOR.... Love that thing. Also waiting on those custom RGB panels, Because I might do a little diorama inside the case that I wanted to but didn't have the space for in my old case. AN ROG FALCHION Keyboard Still looking at mice Oh and GPU.... I Went with a regular 3080strix non ti I have to say though.... Cudos on a great build for your FIRST gaming PC. Looks like one of those garbage gpu brackets that wreck your gpu and case over time.
Adding thermal paste on your cpu.? Can you do that when the AIO already has a paste on it. Is this ok to do.

Pre-applied paste have a tendency to leave an air bubble in the middle, i added a little bit more to cover that and more areas at the edges

Ive got the same case,CP en Motherboard....I combined it with a AORUS RT 6800XT. Very Very Powerfull setup.
So for the amounting mother’s board ,,just used the screws from the case including right?? I don’t see any screws in mother board package???

How do you get the colors to stay static on your mother board?? I cant seem the get mine to do it.
I used Asus’ RGB software called Armory Crate for the all the RGB connected to the MoBo.
