I was there when he retired it on one of his tours. This most recent tour he came out and brought out 187. It was so great to hear him say that he has grown so much and is willing to play it again. 💕
Legendary song . Hope I can see them someday after this Pandemic ends. Did amazing though even though he’s aged. Still sings it with passion that’s what’s important.

Altho, I will admit as I've seen them recently as well as years ago and I agree the level of singing has gone down, but could you scream on queue every night for 3 months or more a year and sound cd quality? So shut your mouths unless you've done it. They're still great live.
there is no vocal damage. For you to scream like that....everything is vocally in order. and he can do it for a whole concert.....which is a miracle for that type of scream. I damaged either my vocal chords or something around it idk....and now my scream will last through 1 or 2 songs and is nowhere near as deep as it was. its like i was knocked back a few years as far as vocal maturity. my natural speaking voice wont even last a whole day
